Force Majeure's debut release on the 'Sulk Magic' imprint comes stocked with mind-altering treats. 
The title track 'Overawed' mesmerises with it's low-slung undulating electronics, acid flashes and arpeggio rhythms. 'Cheap Thrills' then accelerates proceedings with unfussy drums and robotic, bleep heavy melodies. 
Label owner Bird of Paradise offers up a relentless lo-fi version of the latter whilst Melbourne based Jamie Blanco provides a hustling futuristic soundscape. Damon Jee closes matters with his interpretation of 'Overawed', contributing a stripped back, double-time chugger.

Exclusive Rico Puestel 'Whether (Theus Mago Remix)'

Mexican artist Mateo Gonzalez alias Bufi alias Theus Mago is omnipresent; either with own releases under one of the aforementioned two aliases or works from his label Duro. His latest piece of music, a remix für Kiel-based artist Rico Puestel, now drops on Adana Twins' label TAU and marks its eight installment 'Chicanery EP'. Theus Mago took on duties for 'Whether' and turned Rico's original version into a craving piece that's based upon rhythmical elements adding a quick drive to the bass line and mental sounds for the top layer. So basically Theus Mago's approach comes up with a synergy of warm and organic sounding elements and darker industrial influenced ones.

Rico Puestel's EP 'Chicanery' will be released on TAU on September 27th, 2019.

The nations of Bosnia and Hungary collided and brought together a new e-music duo: All Eyes On You, despite having been formed not so long ago, already counts with a strong local backing amassed due to their second to none melodic and dark art sets. They started producing only this year – probably as a result of a tedious lockdown – and will finally have their debut release on the alluring UK-based label Paradiso Records curated by respected DJ and producer REES.

For the extra-terrestrial, darker disco lovers out there, AEOY have cooked something beautiful for you: “Red Planet”, the track we chose to premiere, brings a fat bassline, menacing FXs/risings, and a throbbing synth layer that perfectly showcase the sharpness and the sting of their production skills. Innocence, consciousness, warnings... Colossio crash - lands onto Duro with his first full EP for the label. It’s about time; a fellow Mexican alchemist and kindred spirit, Colossio’s dark disco melting pot and strong political energy has bubbled to the same beat as label imprint since the very beginning. Previously spotted on the label remixing Theus Mago and Local Suicide in 2019, he’s now back with three formidable slabs of tightly - sprung timelessness and a remix from Dominik Marz.
Each cut more foreboding than the last, ‘Inocência’ lives up to its name as the most playful cut of the collection. A gently cascading arpeggio takes the lead as classic Yello-style pitched vocals add fun and human warmth to the mix. Dark but not devilishly so, it lures you into Colossio’s world, setting you up for the more up-tempo, late night synth-heavy twist from Dominik Marz.
