One year after his stunning debut on Relish with the aptly named Klub Psycho, French London-based dj/producer Mondowski is back with a new ep: Surfin Hell.
The eponymous track unrolls a mesmerizing technoid slo-mo psychedelia suffused with acid elements paralleling an out-of-space surf rock guitar riff which finally morphs into a Morriconesque western soundtrack clip. While Headman aka Insinna reworks the original track into a late nite club anthem, Sébastien Chenut, one half of Scratch Massive, takes us even further back in time with a brilliant dance-floor oriented remix which tapes into a distinctly eighties New Wave melancholia. Mondowski's second new track, Delok, turns out to be a totally different matter plunging deep into the uncompromising depths of leftfield club electronica. In short, full blast!

Over the past couple of years, namely ever since the release of his 'Lovers EP' on Permanent Vacation, The Drifter has not only left his footprints in the scene but has also helped putting Ireland on the electronic music map, which had been mainly represented by his longtime friend Niall Mannion alias Mano Le Tough. Fortunately Mark Flynn, how close friends call The Drifter, decided to expose his extraordinary yet and until the present day very few own productions to the public and above co-founded the label Maeve, which gives home to like-minded artists. It's the calmness combined with carefulness and thoughtfulness in his music and appearance that attracts listeners and followers likewise. Mark - at least in public - is deliberate when it comes to words and rather has his own or music he appreciates fetch the attention it deserves. Torture the Artist was happy enough to catch up with Mark shortly before the release of his 'The Drifter Edition' of Kieran Apter's track 'The Mirror' and speak about his music digging habits, his radio show and the difficulties to finish an EP while listening to his latest piece of art/music.

A synth-infused father-son collaboration, fast-rising talent Kincaid has teamed up with his dad Neil Arthur, a member of the respected British synth-pop act Blancmange, for a fresh release on Moscoman's Disco Halal imprint, titled 'Big Fat Head'.

The forthcoming release sees Moscoman teaming up with friend and collaborator Trikk as Nucat for their first official remix under the new joint moniker. Wrapped in the label's favored air of eastern mysticism, this chugging and vocoder-driven track is not to be missed.

'Big Fat Head' is set for release on March 22 via Disco Halal.
