Stylic - Smoke Machine

A little more than four years have passed since Espacio Cielo started its journey. From January 2020 fast forward to the present day, almost eighty releases hit the shelves of the main online retailers out there and delivered some precious gems for the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene – many of them are proper peak time beasts!

For its forthcoming brick on the wall, the Spanish powerhouse welcomes back British producer Jay-Son, whose recent string of appearances on other vital outlets such as NEIN, Paisley Dark, When Disco Goes Wrong, Rare Wiri, and Espacio itself has showcased the versatility and capabilities of the seasoned virtuoso.

His “Divine Journey of Souls” EP comes with his characteristic groovy-meets-darkness sonority and comes with two stunning remixes cooked with love by the label owner himself: First, an EBM-infused version for the title track as Parissior (SXDNS206), and then, a more Raw-Trance-like interpretation for “Capsule Sway” as Jesu Aparicio.

Premiered here, “Divine Journey Of Souls”, the original, is not only energetic but also mesmerizing with its throbbing bassline and deep synth leads. Percussive elements and speech-like vocals jump in to enrich the cosmic-retro-embedded theme.

Factor City kicks off its third decade in full swing, led by Undo solo and accompanied by its usual partners Casiowaves and Vicknoise.
It all began in 2003 when Undo & Vicknoise laid the foundation for the label with "Noctámbula," and over the years, they continued to collaborate closely, managing the label and producing "hits" such as "Orca" or "Happy Monday." From 2011 onward, following an amicable parting, Undo began to run the label solo while maintaining the same spirit and distinctive sound of the Barcelona-based label, always at the forefront of dance music produced in Spain.
Now, in 2024, in a digital world where fewer and fewer things can be touched with our fingers and where 100,000 songs are uploaded to Spotify every day, Factor City is charting a different course and starts a new decade on the dance floors by returning to vinyl releases and persisting in their low key and relaxed approach, releasing few and carefully curated records from their artists each year.
“Ciudad Futura” opens with "Good Times," a track by Undo that radiates joy and positivity. A euphoric ride through landscapes of analog synthesizers and drum machines. The second track on side A is signed by Undo & Vicknoise, who hadn't produced together in 15 years. And we hope they won't take as long to get back in the studio together after hearing "Electric Rainbow." A delightful slice of electro-disco. The B side is signed by the recent combo of Undo and Casiowaves. The first track, "Secret Worlds," follows in the wake of their recent releases on Factor City and Melodize with that winning combination of retro 80s and 90s synths with vocoders and a more contemporary production. Closing out the record is "Astralia," a vibrant "power synth pop" anthem adorned with FM synths and acid-tinged melodies. Thanks for listening!

'Musica E Computer' is a momentous release from Slow Motion label head Fabrizio Mammarella and Rodion recorded in the legendary Marche Synth Museum (Museo Del Synth Marchigiano). 
A fully functional recording space that houses a fusion of several private collections of Italian electronic musical instruments gathered over the many years since their creation. The Marche region, being home to some of the most ground-breaking and foundational instruments, has created the likes of Crumar, Farfisa and Elka with innovative use from the likes of Tangerine Dream, Pink Floyd and Vangelis.   The opening track ‘Iris’ sets the exceptional tone for this release. Fully exploring the realms within the Marche with an eerie, metallic tropical soundscape showing their discoveries' breadth. ‘A Corrente Alternata’ brings us back to Mammerella and Rodion’s revered partnership as unmatched creators of enigmatic, timeless earworms. The driving bassline sits beautifully within the characterfully saturated drums and tweets of an equally enigmatic synthesiser.   ‘Un Segnale Di Speranza‘ launches us into the infectious, mind-bending signature arps of Mammerella and the rising harmonies of Rodion, with another ground-shattering bassline and arcane vocoders that transport you to peak time at Slow Motion’s Italorama Bar. ‘Musica E Computer’s’ soundscapes provide rich blends of the synthetic and organic sounds of the Italian region, acting as a geographic coda that can also be heard in ‘La Domenica Del Villaggio’.   ‘La Memoria Dei Sistemi’ slips us back into the energetic, electronic environment that Rodion and Mammerella have so delicately crafted. Driving us through the celestial alchemy of this atmospheric track, which leads us to the chiming finish of ‘Una Nuova Era’. This ties together a transcendent homage to Musica E Computer’s recording surroundings and a bar-setting conclusion to another captivating masterpiece from the duo.

We can't wait to present to you, Ukrainian producer Revolt, to put it bluntly, is knocking down the doors of the EBM scene. 

The long-awaited album Unfulfilled Promises is now available for pre-order. 

The whole album is a fusion of powerful bass lines, undeniable drum parts, melancholic synths and percussion. Sharpness and danceness, emotions and audacity, mystique and severity. He calls this genre Cold Body Music. 

Prominent artists known in circles worked on the remixes:
