First released back in 2013, You Man's debut EP Restless -and its lead track Birdcage- launched the career of French duo Tepat Huleux and Giac Di Falco, kickstarting a decade of stunning live shows played all around the globe and acclaimed releases and remixes on labels such as as Tronik Youth’s NEIN, Boston Bun’s Circa’99 and Eskimo Recordings. Now, to celebrate their first ten years in the game Huleux and Di Falco have revisited their debut EP, and this time they've brought along some of the many friends they've made over the past decade, from house legend Etienne de Crécy to pianist Des Jonquilles.

With its chugging 109 bpm beat and a melody that switches from throbbing minimalism to something tantalisingly close to a full-on Ibiza sunrise moment, the EP's lead track Birdcage has never strayed too far from discerning DJs record bags but across several versions here we get to see it reinterpreted in thrilling new ways.

The aforementioned Etienne de Crécy should need no introduction and his whip smart remix of Birdcage, shows just why, taut French house at its finest. Elsewhere we see the track given a darker techno makeover courtesy of Duro Records Theus Mago, whilst fellow Mexican producer Rigopolar turns in a laid back version that would definitely not sound out of place on some Balearic beach.

Taking things even further out there Parisian trio PPJ send Birdcage on a trip to Brazil's carnivals, vocalist Páula adding her own lyrics to the version's freshly added and frenetic South American electro rhythms. Leaving thoughts of sunshine and the beach behind, sometime NEIN label-mates and fellow French duo Kimshies take Birdcage in a much darker direction, sparse electro beats and atmospheric washes of synths combine to create a shiver inducing John Carpenter-esque atmosphere.

Closer to home fellow Calais producer Numérobé takes things in a completely different direction, turning in a stuttering techno remix, that glitches and spins off in increasingly abstract and uncertain directions. Likewise longtime friend of Huleux and Di Falco, Samaran, also twists the original into a quirky new minimal shape, upping the tempo and letting the track spin off in unexpected directions.

Completing the new versions of Birdcage, You Man provide one of their own, an adaptation of their own live version of the track that turns up both the tempo and well, everything as they tweak the track's melody and those marimba-like synths pushing the track into full on euphoria. Of course once you're up you have to eventually come down, and a gentle descent is provided by Des Jonquilles, who provides a delicate, dream like cover version of Birdcage, transforming it into a sublime solo piano song.

There obviously was always more to the EP than just Birdcage, and the other tracks get a word in too. Parisian DJ Sara Zinger transforms Get The Funk into an ultra-tight, ultra-efficient techno workout, Molecule reworks Restless into an 8 minute burner, that constantly, thrillingly, threatens to spill over into chaos but adroitly walks the line and finally Poïka gives Confusion a hard-edged makeover, all staccato metallic stabs, menacing low end growls, pounding drums and chopped up samples before an unexpectedly funky bass line kicks the track into another gear.

Dream Hack is a new side project from the Sheffield based producer Randolph & Mortimer. A new alias created as a tribute to the electronic dance music of the mid 90s, a period in time when a new style of underground dance music was pushing through with bands like Underworld, Fluke, Drum Club and Eat Static leading the charge. These artists were blending everything from Techno to Trance, Acid to Ambient vibes and that’s what this new alias is all about, just having fun experimenting and mixing up the genres
The idea behind White Heat / Acid City was to create a piece of work that felt like a live show, constantly shifting between styles and vibes, tempos and instrumentation. Comprised of three tracks this release is very much inspired by the old skool ethos of writing long, evolving tracks. Whilst the influences are very much a nod back to a classic time in the beginnings of dance music there are still modern twists in it’s creation to keep it feeling fresh. Switching between Techno, Ambient, Trance and Dub influences, it’s dance music but created by a producer whose musical DNA is as much based in hardcore and alternative guitar music as it is electronic music so it’s about songs as well dancelfoor weapons. An album that works being listened to in a darkened room or driving around cities late at night as much as it works in the clubs.
It’s time to jack in.

Like other duos, such as Daft Punk or The Chemical Brothers, Tepat Huleux and Giac Di Falco have been inseparable since they first met at their Calais high school in 1996, bonding over trips across the Belgian border to continue their education at Ghent's legendary warehouse parties. producers to find their own unique sound which they call "Club Wave", a heady mix of electro club, new wave melodies and dark, deviant and hypnotic disco grooves.

The 44th Chapter in this story sees the release of JOBE’s "My Regrets", featuring the haunting vocals of Haptic and a big Edition from label bosses VVerses. As ever with JOBE, the EP is a powerful combination of darkness, melody and heft. Title track "My Regrets" is true to form, built on a chunky, driving groove that opens into an expansive and euphoric vocal-led peak in which Haptic takes the lead, giving a performance that is typically haunting and emotional. The Dub Edition, meanwhile, offers a useful counterpoint that smooths out the highs of the original. Up next, the "VVerses Lessons Learned Edition" is a blissful combination of new wave-influenced broken beat, delayed basslines and dripping acid. Haptic’s vocal, transformed into an impersonal and heavily vocodered robotic presence, holds the track together as it culminates into choppy ravey chords that channel a Balearic feel. Final track "Luma" is an ominous afro tech roller, big dusty drums encasing a central arp that ups the ante and is bound to make the dancefloor bounce. Interweaving synths relentlessly build the tension to a crescendo.

We welcome to the Moustache Records family the oldskool electro legend Martin Matiske with his Electronic disco-ish 12 inch EP release "Robotic Theatre" This is a future vision of a theatre run by robots and is the era in which machines entertain mankind. Operas are written and played in a mechanical way. The pieces of "Robotic Theatre" deal with different terms of stage work. Track A1 is called "Acting Faces" and Refers to the rehearsing of the role, as well as the interaction of the actors on stage. The well-being of the actor does not often match what is played. He has to play even If it's painful. B2 is the track called "Machinery" Human beings are machines that build machines today. The advantage is perfection and time saving. Robots as actors are reliable and precise. B1 listen to the name "Transistor Dances"its Like The Hungarian Dances by Johannes Brahms you just need a dance to express happiness and remind your culture. Dances bring people together. A robotic dance should not be missing in a play. The last track of the EP is the tune "Practise" a story about a robot the has to practise to achieve perfection and it is fun."
