DJ and Producer, Mateus Duarte aka 'tuK' is the resident and curator of the ÖRGAN1C, BREU and 404 collectives. DJing since 2014 and being part of the new Rio de Janeiro generation of DJing, tuK has been gaining space in the city booths with his sound and music productions.

When it comes to fresh talent, Retrofract is without a doubt one of the top names in our roster. The British producer, based in Spain for a few years, has an outstanding ability for mixing oldschool nostalgic House melodies with sunkissed laid-back grooves, making waves on different labels as well as his own Retrofracted Records. We are so proud to host his most beach-friendly productions, this time with 2 tracks included on his 'Dreams Of Y2K' EP. 

The Original Mix is a delicious, smooth Chill House track, where a dreamy vocal flies over a catchy piano loop that immediately catches your attention. The B-Side is a secret gem, as we are re-releasing his track 'Got To Happen' alongside Lucia Silvestro and Mikka Bouzu. A downtempo journey, with a strong balearic influence on its relaxed drums and warm bass proving once again that when a talented producer meets the right musicians, only magic can happen.

On the remix duties, Deephope returns home elevating the title track to a new Deep House landscape. A more hypnotic bassline and synthy melodies takes the original track on a more early dancefloor territory, balancing this release smoothly showcasing the big variety on the music we love.

1. このミックスはどちらで収録したものですか？

自分の家にはしっかり音が出るミキサーが無いから、僕の親しい友達のDietmarの家で録らせてもらったよ。


2. このミックスのコンセプトがあれば教えてください。

普段クラブでプレイするトラックと家でも聞けるようなリラックスしたトラックの両方を組み入れてミックスを作ったよ。


3. 最近の活動を教えてください。

MadridのColt Musicからリリース予定のEP制作をしていたよ。今いくつかのレーベルと連絡をとってるけど、僕は自分が満足するトラックを作るのにすごい時間がかかるから、次どうしようか考えてるところ。アルバムのリリースもしたいしね。

With recent gigs at The Zoo Project, Solid Grooves and Octan over the Summer Alex will soon be featuring on La Vie En Rose's new VA so keep an eye out.
