Discotiki is a experimental band from São Paulo whose purpose is to mix electronic music  with ethnic grooves, creating a fusion of eastern and western music.
Having a very different line-up, the band blends acoustic and electronic sounds, building exotic and modern songs (Ritual Grooves, as the band call them). The band members are Diego Raso – synth guitar and electric sitar; Chris Du Voisin – electric bass; Victor Guy – drums and Ivan Padovani – effects and programming.
The band is inspired by a wide range of styles, from the classic disco-funk and afrobeat to the more modern house, minimal and dub. The band mixes all these styles in a unique way, having as a common ground the freedom to interpret these influences without any attachment to established patterns.
Discotiki constantly plays in nightclubs in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
