Bedrock Digital is set to celebrate its milestone 100th digital single release in superb style with ‘Tracer’, the second single from Emerson, Digweed & Muir – a collaborative project of the highest order from three of the scene’s most respected creative mavericks, whose huge debut ‘Fanfare’ (Beddigi88) had fans everywhere begging for more. Enlisting Berlin’s inspirational Watergate resident Ruede Hagelstein on remix duty completes the perfect package to mark yet another Bedrock landmark.

Between them, John Digweed and Nick Muir, producers of the finest electronic dance music, have been involved in many pivotal moments in the world of club music over the years and have in many ways helped to define genres & push the boundaries further. Their partnership has been one of electronic music's most fruitful pairings, creating a body of work that’s seen them become one of the world’s most highly regarded production duos. Joining forces with Detone boss Darren Emerson, who since his pioneering days with Underworld has remained at the forefront of the electronic scene across the last three decades for good reason, is a mission statement, showing that this illustrious trio are not resting on past laurels, but always developing themselves musically in exciting new directions.

Rather appropriately, in its original form ‘Tracer’ is an unmistakably heavyweight, pulsating, peak-time monster, loaded with menacing, fizzing, energetic, celebratory creative abandon. Meanwhile, Darren Emerson’s ‘Womb Mix’ develops ‘Tracer’ into an equally stunning, bombastic, stripped back, techno colossus, showcasing his supremely individualistic creative flair. In perfect juxtaposition to the trio’s versions, the dialled-back, low-slung, brooding throb of Ruede Hagelstein’s mesmerizing interpretation, bristling with unrivalled electronic detail, perfectly rounds what is an exceptional creative circle. 

In this day and age to not only survive as an independent label, but to flourish and constantly evolve, bringing forward and developing new and exciting talent to stand equally alongside established household names, is something that should be applauded. The global respect and love that Bedrock has steadily gained through years of releasing quality dance music that rides the waves of trends and fashions is second to none. 2017 has already seen a steady flow of exceptional Bedrock releases and there is so much more to yet to come.

Marco has a prolific career which includes releases on labels such as: ​Poker Flat Recordings, Watergate Records, Gruuv​ Records and of course his own fine imprint Upon You Records. 

He’s also resident of one of the most renowned clubs in the world: Watergate. 

Alongside Norman Weber, they established their Luna City Express Project as an outlet for tasteful House Music. 

Touring on a global scale (and a busy schedule) Marco Resmann pleases audiences around the world every week with outstanding DJ-sets.

The Berlin native returns to the label with an original 3 tracker EP, which we promise, will be in your sets for a while.

Title track ‘Hologram’ is a heads down piece. With laser synths that drag you along, and a drum/percussive system that adds energy and drive. While a hypnotic lead guides you in the right direction. 

Next up is ‘Transmission’, a deeper work-out. With rich hypnotic pads that glides in, and teases of rippling synths filters into sonic range, adding a dimension of understated quality. 

Closing the package is ‘Stereopsis’, once again Marco with his signature sound: deep, dark & underground. This late-night action track is subtle, but packed with a punch! Solid one for the chunkier moments of your set.

Holland's Egbert goes heavy on the cowbell and makes the most out of the original's manifold refrains, extracting the maximum energy from the sounds therein and fusing them to a funk-fuelled groove that fans of Joris Voorn will likely appreciate. It is warm, upbeat, energetic and most of all, irresistible: The Egbert-sound. Egbert VanderGugten is an ordinary Dutch guy, except for the fact that he is THE Dutch techno-act at this moment. In his loft in Rotterdam, Egbert produces one great dance floor track after another. However, no dance floor can hear it. The only witness to the magic he creates are the four walls of his loft until the Dutch techno legend Secret Cinema (Jeroen Verheij) finds him online. Verheij pulls Egbert out of his loft and gives him, at age 20, a stage to perform on and a record label. It turned out to be the start of an international victory tour. Having hardly recovered from his first two releases in the Netherlands, Sven Väth calls from Frankfurt: ‘Can Egbert deliver a track for Cocoon, stat.’ Vreugdevuur becomes one of the most prominent releases of 2009 and after that things go fast. Really fast. The loft quickly becomes history when Egbert closes the main stage of Time Warp, crushes Awakenings for no less than a dozen times in a couple years and graces Club Womb in Tokyo. Additionally, he is a frequent guest in Cape Town, Budapest, Ibiza, Melbourne and Singapore… Not bad for a guy who before his first release only flew in a plane once. But understand that wherever Egbert comes, all (let me repeat: ALL) hands will go up, and they will stay there.

Egbert sets a new standard when he singlehandedly performs for 6 hours straight in a sold out club Melkweg in Amsterdam. The question is: what is someone who achieved so much in such a short period of time going to do next? No worries. Aside from the fact that he still has a countless amount of tracks waiting to see the world (thank you, loft), Egberts’ ambition and energy are limitless.

The entire world is his next stop.
