"Massachusetts-based producer Tonio Sagan bursts onto the scene with a sprawling mashup-meets-cinematic opus, “Stuff Dreams Are Made Of." 

Tonio begins the mix by sampling renowned astronomer Carl Sagan. Those words lead us through a soundscape of ethereal cloud beats and Hip Hop-influenced bass music, which is paired with wall-to-wall conceptually driven sampling. 

“Stuff Dreams Are Made Of” is one of the most carefully crafted pieces of its kind, in part because its emotional weight. The track features live bass and drums by Alchemystics founders Garrett Sawyer and Demse Zullo during the section with Nas and Aerosmith samples. The drum recording is from the first and tragically last show Demse performed in a project with DJ Neb and Tonio. Zullo passed away with his good friend Budzy in a tragic automobile accident shortly after. It’s a beautiful tribute not only to Zullo but all the important lives we’ve lost over the years."

Discover New Beats is a Buffalo, NY based dance music entertainment collaboration run by veteran DJ/Producer/Promoter Dj Loki.

Loki Bio:

One of the top Djs in upstate NY, Loki has been playing live at parties regionally since 2005, on the decks since 1999. Loki is capable of rocking any party at any time. His 3 deck mixes and original productions make this Dj a top talent who can keep the vibe or create it himself. Loki also runs Discover New Beats based in Buffalo. Discover New Beats is responsible for some of the city's best parties including the Bass Mountain series of events as well as Discover New Beats Radio.

The company specializes in live shows hosting events ranging from 60-600 attendees and offering a diverse selection of high quality artists on a regular basis. Discover New Beats is also about production and new music. Though not a record label Discover New Beats collaborates with and is connected to a growing number of producers and record labels both regionally and nationally so expect the freshest content from home grown productions to choice material from the network. On the whole Discover New Beats aims to provide amazing music to amazing people on many fronts including events, radio, dj services, and original music. We also aim to be provide an environment that is both fun and safe in all that we are a part of and we include anyone who feels the same as we do! 

History:

The collaboration is the evolution of the now defunct Intimefunk (radio, events, graphic art, vj services, dj services) and Loki DNB Events (dj services, events, production) into the entity that is today Discover New Beats.
