Never one to stick to a certain sound, Ukrainian breakout producer Lugovskiy delivers a stunning new single titled “If It’s Nothing” via the North Border label.

This record comes as yet another eclectic offering from the Kiev-based talent, who rushed into mainstream view with a three-EP series on Steve Angello’s Size Records imprint. This support from the Swedish House Mafia member allowed his music to reach thousands of listeners around the world. “If It’s Nothing” also allows Lugovskiy to continue a fantastic working relationship with vocalist Chris Calvert.

Smooth vocals, mellowed instrumental choices and incredible attention to detail mark the strengths of the three tracks on “If It’s Nothing”. The original brings an incredible chilled-out quality that delivers goosebumps with its strong nuances. Fellow Ukrainian CHRGELOVE adds a fresh future bass approach to the record, capitalizing on the inherent energy of the track. The Alternative Mix rounds out the EP with an even more chilled-out acoustic take.

With his ‘Dalesser EP’ alongside Mathias D and Danen recently released on Code Black, Sunday Noise now joins forces with Al Sharif and Uncore for a new hit titled “Lies”.

This tune adds a new wrinkle to the fledgling imprint that has blossomed as part of Marcus Schossow’s Code Red family. The label has welcomed talents like Özgür Can, Stephan Duy, Havoc & Lawn and more onto its roster to deliver a more underground sound.

“Lies” brings a smooth atmosphere that sets it apart from the standard house track. Slick arps dot the topline of the record, while a thumping bassline also delivers a groovy energy that simply cannot be denied. Add in some unique tribal drums in the breakdown and the result is a smash hit ready to take on dancefloors worldwide.

To round out 2018, Code Black Music brings back Frenchman Mathias D. in collaboration with Barcelona-based duo Marc Franco & That Bass for the two-track Rollax EP.

The Rollax EP, made up of "Relax" and "Roller," serves as the perfect endcap to Code Black's introductory year. Each tune brings an energetic but gritty house vibe to the table. Intricate drums and pumping basslines star throughout, as both tunes show potential to be mainroom smashes.
