Muy contentos de recibir en nuestra familia nómada al productor mexicano Guillermo Santana a.k.a Hotmood. Su carrera como productor empezó en el año del 2005 y ha lanzado su música en importantes sellos como Starcreature, Tugboatedits, Editorial Records, SFSB, Whiskey Pickle y entre otros, donde ha demostrado su sentido avanzado en el sampling de la música disco y jazz de los 70’s.

Disco Flava Ep es su debut con Nómada Records y consta de tres tracks originales donde podemos percibir a través de técnicas como el sampling y el chopping una fuerte influencia por generos como el Latin Jazz, Disco y Funk. Además viene acompañado por dos exclusivos remixes por parte de los nómadas Discoholycs y Felipe Gordon, quienes le agregan a los sencillos Pyschomaniac y Disco Flava ese ingrediente housero faltante.

We’re very excited to receive in our nomad family the mexican producer Guillermo Santana a.k.a Hotmood. His Career as a producer begun in 2005 and he has realesed his music on important labels such as Starcreature, Tugboatedits, Editorial Records, SFSB, Whiskey Pickle and among others, where he has demostrated his advance sampling sense on disco and jazz music from the seventies.

Disco Flava is Hotmood’s debut Ep on Nómada Records and there are three original tracks where we can perceive through techniques such as sampling and chopping; a strong influence for Latin Jazz, Disco and Funk music. It’s also accompanied by two exclusive remix by the nomads Discoholycs and Felipe Gordon who add to the singles Psychomaniac and Disco Flava that missing House and Club ingredient.

All original tracks produced and mixed by Hotmood. All tracks mastered by Lucien Magual. The bassline on Psychomaniac (Discohoycs Remix) was played and recorded by Jonahlo.
