Kamana is a multiformat release inspired by and channeling the culture and traditions of the Aeta, an indigenous group from the Zambales region in the Philippines. 

One of the oldest inhabitants of the region the Aetas are also some of the most fascinating and ancient nomadic and hunter gathering cultures. The release goes from the realms of the real to the imaginary, from transcription to syncretism, from concrete to abstract. 

An (un)real Sonic Exorcism filled with Ancestral Frequencies, Haunted Ghosts and other animistic spirits roaming the Pinatubo forests.

Carlos Casas - Kamana (LP Preview)

Spontaneously improvised this classical piano solo tune at the morning of this last day of summer of 2025.

For this improvisation I’ve used: Scoring Piano from FluffyAudio + Brainworx townhouse compressor + Relab LX480 reverb. I think Scoring Piano is really my most favorite piano because I can feel a very warm and still emotional vibe while playing on this beautiful piano. Brainworx compressor and LX480 reverb gives a soft and a bit retro-analog sound which I really enjoy.
