After quite some while of sonic explorations, the 3rd DSCRT release comes up as a split EP that discrete formants compiled together with berlin-based artist the marx trukker. 
As each artist follows his own distinctive approach in expression of sound, what deeply connects them is their passion for dub music. While discrete formants here rather refers on the formal aspects of acid-dub-techno, the marx trukker dives into the more experimental and krauty fields of the dub universe. Their collaborative work Necessary Node, a deep and polyrhythmic midtempo piece, finally reflects both views aiming to create unique electronic music offside any conventions.

Hi everybody! I´m very happy to finally announce the launch of Discrete Formants I, a 6-tracker EP encompassing selected works of the year 2012. This release is only available as greyish coloured 12" Vinyl and limited to 300 copies only. Track composing, programming, mixing and artwork by myself; track mastering and vinyl-precut by Stefan Betke (aka Pole) at ~scapemastering Berlin. 
This release is exclusively avaliable via diamonds and pearls (dnp) distribution Berlin.
