Ray Kash is no stranger to the LA dance scene. Growing up in New York he discovered House music listening to the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Jonathan Peters, Boris, Roger Sanchez , Victor Calderone and other artists that were shaping the underground scene in New York; 
in 2010 he decided to move to LA to continue his music career. 
The creator of the popular and respected industry night, Temple Tuesdays has many residencies in Los Angeles and has become a household name in underground community.

 His diverse sound fits nicely between deep, techno and melodic. With his diverse gigs and skills to adapt to every dance floor in different parts of the world with unique sound and style, he knows how to work the room with respect to the time and venue and overall vibe of the party.
He has been spending a lot of time in studio working on production and preparing upcoming releases”

"Mix was recorded at subtract on the pier, I never plan my sets as A to Z , I put music on folder that I feel fits the vibes and artists and space I’m playing with, and rest is based on reading the crowd.

Little did Alex know when he started compiling music for his friends in his teenage years, that only a few years later while beginning to explore vinyl and digital ways of mixing, his real journey in music began. He spent many years in Asia, practicing and teaching KungFu, believing that knowing yourself is the ultimate tool. About two decades later, Alex is still on this path, constantly shaping his signature sound. Various labels like Kosa, Suprematic, Shango Records and Zolotaya Orda have released his music. From deep, active sound to funky grooves; there are no genre limitations for him. It’s about simplicity, the smiles, the atmosphere, the moments everybody shares. His aspiration is to connect people — with one another, with the music and with themselves.

Pangea
Der Name "Pangaea/Pangea" stammt aus dem altgriechischen und setzt sich zusammen aus pan (πᾶν, "alles, ganz, vollständig") und Gaia (Γαῖα, "Mutter Erde, Land").
Vor langer Zeit erzählte man sich Geschichten von einem Kontinent der Kontinente. Bis vor ungefähr 200 Millionen Jahren, so sagten sie, war jegliche Landmasse dieser Erde eins. Doch dann trennte sich diese Einheit, teilte sich auf in viele verschiedene Kontinente, Länder und Regionen. 
Diese Teilung ist eine Metapher für die Entwicklung der Menschheit. Denn die Menschen dieser Erde taten es der Mutter gleich, sie verstreuten sich auf sämtliche Bereiche des Planeten. Es erblühten unzählige Kulturen und Sprachen, die Menschheit trennte sich auf zu einer Vielfalt der Völker.
Doch das ist nicht das Ende der Geschichte, denn auf Abschied nehmen folgt das Wiedersehen. Es ist Zeit wieder zusammenrücken, sich als Kollektiv wiederzuerkennen.
Tarun Jakhodia ist ein ambitionierter Downtempo-Künstler, der von geschmeidigem Deep House, hypnotischen Deep Grooves und soliden Kicks angetrieben wird. In seiner Musik finden sich ebenfalls indische, arabische und viele weitere orientalische Einflüsse. Mit Kosa Records erschuf Kośa sein eigenes Label und im Januar diesen Jahres erschien die erste "Various Artists Compilation" namens Mīmāṃsā.

Die 113 ist meine absolute Glückszahl … sie läuft mir immer wieder nur im positiven Sinne über den Weg. Und auch diesmal ist mir erst heute Morgen so richtig bewusst geworden das das mal wieder passt wie die Faust aufs Auge. Es gibt wohl keine DJ / Künstler der mich in den letzten Jahren musikalisch überzeugt, bereichert, geprägt, begleitet, verzaubert, beeinflusst hat. Die Rede ist von einem meiner besten Freunde ARKADIUSZ. Und dass er nun die 113 in meiner Herzens-Reihe ist … ist bestimmt kein Zufall.

„Lieber Arka die Musik hat uns zusammen gebracht und es ist so schön dich als Freund zu wissen. Danke für dein liebevolles Sein.“

Und mehr will ich an der Stelle gar nicht sagen und lasse einfach die Musik sprechen.

Thanks for finding the second mix in the series of ‘In-Too-Deep’ .  This one travels from my great friend Perry, residing somewhere in deepest Guatemala, to myself in a little studio in wonderful leafy Surrey in the UK…  then departs once again back to Guatemala.. so is a mix of three halves !

I remember back to 2016 when I first started really getting in to the downtempo scene and the wonderful community following and partaking in it, there were a bunch of DJ’s and producers that really stood out.  It was them that inadvertently guided me into the resurrection of my own DJ’ing career 😊
One of those DJ’s was Perry.  I remember hearing one of his sets and it just blowing me away.., from then on I became an avid follower listening to everything he released.., and still do.

It is such an honor for me to take part in this collaboration with Perry, in fact it feels a little surreal.. and I certainly hugely enjoyed the experience.

So.. as with the previous mix in this series,  we have attempted to create a coherent set as if we standing side by side in a venue.. although we have possibly made this one unique in that Perry has taken care of the first and third parts, with myself doing the middle section.  Again, if were to be successful in our venture – the whole thing would hopefully sound seamless !

Fortsetzung deep story nr. 116 

Wieder in der Realität angekommen nach der geschmeidigen Sause gestern. Man hat das gut getan mal zu den Wurzeln zurückzukehren und die alte Hood zu besuchen. Nach dem Massenauflauf in der Kathedrale hat die Wohnzimmer-Atmosphäre ein wohliges Gefühl der Freiheit vermittelt. Demnächst geht’s definitiv wieder öfter in die Innenstadt. Vielleicht sollte ich mir auch mal wieder die kleinen, aufwendig gestalteten Raves im Park wieder anschauen. Na dann Handy versorge mich mit Musik, damit ich beschwingt aus dem Bett hüpfen kann. Kurz mal checken ob jemand geschrieben hat.

Woher haben die meine Nummer und vor allem wieso wissen die, dass ich gestern feiern war. Die haben ihre Leute mittlerweile echt Überall. Was für eine miese Masche, so die Leute abzuwerben. Das geht doch entschieden zu weit. So geil die Partys auch sein mögen, es gibt Grenzen und die werden eindeutig überschritten. Das stärkt mich nur in meinem Entschluss wieder die alten Wohnzimmer vergangener Tage zu besuchen. Dort wo die Musik noch mit Hand und Herz gemacht wird. Mal schauen wer denn nächste Woche zu Besuch ist im „Hufeneisen“. Marius Drescher wird vor Ort sein! Wunderbar seine letzten Releases waren einfach genial. Na dann schmeißen wir uns doch mal sein neuestes Set auf die Ohren, um die Floorfreude zu steigern.
