Label favourite Vivra Verra makes a much-anticipated return to Dishevelled London with two sparkling House tracks. Staying true to his lo-fi roots but channelling a newer, more accessible House sound, ‘Wake up’ centres around a catchy vocal hook and builds beautifully with classic piano chords and searing synth lines. This could be the follow up to the iconic ‘Just us 2’ that everyone has been waiting for. On the B-side the grittier ‘Fabric’ certainly packs a punch, with VV’s trademark glitchy percussion and dark synths creating a moody atmosphere. The track then roars in to life with a strong 808 bass and euphoric leads which definitely leave their mark. Available for streaming and download on 5th August.

Klustone is a young producer from Toulouse that revealed himself by making thoughtful electronic music. He comes back with a second EP Five Minutes Past Midnight whose opening track is the eery ‘Colibri’. Like the light feeling that pops up when one thinks about this bird, the song relies on a soothing piano loop and a laidback rhythm reminiscent of deep house. The artist offers here a song that enables the mind to escape the Earth and fly for a little while.
