Дебютний реліз новоствореного лейблу DISK_D  Symonenko students VA (DSKD-D001) - це збірка робіт студентів Symonenko, які займалися з ним в період з 2022-2024 років, в школах Культура Звуку та Module Exchange. Для деяких з них, це -перша музична публікація. 7 оригінальних композицій, створених під вибухами роійських ракет і дронів в столиці незламності, є короткою презентацією того, що ми плануємо випускати в наступному 2025 році. Саунд переважно техновий, та є і цікавинки для шанувальників саунддизайну там олдскул бітів. Створено з любов'ю до музики в самі незабутні роки нашого життя, яке ми тепер так цінуємо.

Debut release on DISK_D  Symonenko students VA (DSKD-D001)  is a compilation of various artists works, which are tracks made by beginner electronic music producers who took lessons in production from Symonenko in 2022-2024. For some of them it is their first music publishing ever. 7 original works made under russian rocket and drone attacks in Kyiv will be a short presentation of what will be coming out on label in the next 2025. Sound is mostly techno, but you can also find special sound designs and oldschool beats on the VA. Made with love to music and our most unforgettable years of life we value that much now.

Максим Садовий aka Sad Fetish: Від металкору до модулярного хаосу

З маленького містечка Ладижин походить творець нещадних ритмів та індустріальних пейзажів — Максим Садовий, відомий у техно-спільноті як Sad Fetish. До світу техно Максим приєднався відносно недавно, на хвилі розквіту української рейв-сцени. Проте саме модулярні синтезатори з їхнім хаотичним переплетінням проводів і необмеженими можливостями звукового дизайну стали для нього справжнім одкровенням. Як зізнається сам Sad Fetish: "Коли я починав, я в принципі не уявляв, що збираю — мною керувала жага до люті, нойзу і експериментального звучання".

Дебютний реліз Максима "Digital Garbage" побачив світ на лейблі Insane Industry, а його творчий шлях продовжив останній реліз "Cradle of Carnage" (Колиска різанини). За словами автора, цей альбом виріс з універсального для українців відчуття тривоги: "Це та колиска, яку ви кожен раз прокручуєте собі перед сном, коли ви стривожені лягаєте спати, ви не знаєте, що буде далі і вам моторошно від того всього. Базовий стан, всі це розуміють." Реліз майстерно передає ці відчуття через звукові полотна, що балансують між агресією та вразливістю.

Це другий реліз на лейблі DISK_D і перший в 2025. Для нас велика радість презентувати таке плотне і важке техно на сьогоднішній українській електронній сцені. Нехай ця музика подарує певний катарсис і дасть можливість пережити всі відтінки гніву, на що ми всі маєм тут повне право, живучи поруч із таким їб..нутим сусідом-терористом, як росія. Maksym Sadovy aka Sad Fetish: From Metalcore to Modular Chaos

The creator of merciless rhythms and industrial landscapes, Maksym Sadovy, known in the techno community as Sad Fetish, comes from the small town of Ladyzhyn. Maksym joined the world of techno relatively recently, on the wave of the heyday of the Ukrainian rave scene. However, it was modular synthesizers with their chaotic intertwining of wires and unlimited possibilities of sound design that became a real revelation for him. As Sad Fetish himself admits: "When I started, I basically had no idea what I was building - I was driven by a thirst for rage, noise and experimental sound."

Maksym's debut release "Digital Garbage" was released on the Insane Industry label, and his creative path continued with this latest release "Cradle of Carnage". According to the author, this album grew out of a universal feeling of anxiety for Ukrainians: "This is the lullaby that you play every time before going to bed, when you go to bed anxious, you don't know what will happen next and you are terrified by it all. The basic state, everyone understands it." The release masterfully conveys these feelings through soundscapes that balance between aggression and vulnerability.

This is the second release on the DISK_D label and the first in 2025. It is a great joy for us to present such dense and heavy techno on today's Ukrainian electronic scene. May this music give a certain catharsis and give the opportunity to experience all shades of anger, which we all have every right to feel, living next to such a f..n.t terrorist neighbor as russia. We are opening a series of DISK_D guest mixes played live with the recording of Polka's DJ set at the Kyiv Collider club on the 31 of December 2024. We chose it to open this series of mixes for its exuberance and energy, sincerity and skillfulness.

Працюючи над цим лайвом, я зробив свій перший крок в бік вільної творчості, не обмеженою очікуваннями слухачів, навіть, якщо це була всього невелика частка від загального хронометражу. Нойз вивів мене з глибокої творчої кризи і дав свіжий погляд, який з кожним днем лиш посилюється і стає чіткішим. We open the DISK_D Resident live podcast series with a recording of Symonenko's performance from the December concert of the Noise every Wednesday event series  at the Hotel club. 
Symonenko: "It was my first performance at "Noiz", I knew that the organizers and the audience really don't like kick, and that they wanted were abstract textures and forms, but I grew up on kick music, and it was not easy for me to restrain my nature and I am still used to the manner of performance that serves dancing. Working on this live, I took my first step towards free creativity, not limited by the expectations of listeners, even if it was only a small part of the total performance timing yet. Noise brought me out of a deep creative crisis and gave me a fresh perspective that only gets stronger and clearer with each day since that. The video of this performance is on YouTube channel Noise shoseredy, there is a lot more interesting stuff there, but I wish you come to their events at the Hotel club at least once, it's unforgettable."

We open the next series of mixes - Mixtapes, with the first record 
Disk_d Mixtape 001: be_ca_di. The idea of ​​the series is to select music not according to style, but according to mood, which flows along the flow of sensations and gives fresh breath, can serve as a soundtrack for a road trip or a war path. It is a great joy for us to open the series with this particular mix, because it gives a deep dive into the mood skillfully prepared by the selector. On the record, you can hear many cool Ukrainian tracks that sound absolutely equal to Western European music which has been iconic for us. Such mixes help our post-colonial inferiority to weaken and disappear like a cursed old disease. And they also give a sense of our people's connection with global artistic processes.

be_ca_di: On the wave of inspiration from the last mixtape of mostly instrumental and essential music for me, I recorded a mixtape for @symonenkomusic new label, Disk_D @disk_d_recordlabel, which will open a new series of mixes on this label.

Отаке електро нам до смаку! Київська діджейкиня Makido, яка є родом з Донецька, сьогодні дарує нам понтовий електро мікс. Сьогодні у нас мікс електро та ламаних бітів від діджейкині з Одеси - Electra. 
Вона встигла пограти у багатьох містах України (Київ, Львів, Вінниця, Івано-Франківськ, Тернопіль, Чернігів), а також за кордоном у Кишиневі. Була резидентом клубу tsekh.33 в рідній Одесі, коли він ще існував.
Electra: "Люблю такі жанри, як брейкбіт (135-150bpm), електро (135-145bpm) та експериментальні ламані ритми (110-160bpm). Я вважаю, що неповторне звучання кожного жанру і їх поєднання дає змогу створювати нові сенси і проживати унікальні досвіди. У подальшому я бачу себе не тільки диджеєм, а й продюсером. Над чим зараз активно працюю і навчаюсь створенню музики".

Today we have a mix of electro and broken beats by Electra - DJ from Odesa.
She managed to play in many cities of Ukraine (Kyiv, Lviv, Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Chernihiv), as well as abroad in Chisinau. She was a resident of the tsekh.33 club in her native Odessa, when it still existed.
Electra: "I love genres such as breakbeat (130-150bpm), electro (135-145bpm) and experimental broken rhythms (110-160bpm). I believe that the unique sound of each genre and their combination allows you to create new meanings and live unique experiences. In the future, I see myself not only as a DJ, but also as a producer. Which is what I am currently actively working on and learning to create music."
This mix is ​​made of lighter music than we usually promote, but the mood that Electra created is very in line with such wonderful weather, as we finally have now.

В Травні Symonenko попросили заповнити музикою вечір в барі hvlv, а шоб цей час запам'ятався і послужив розвитку, він зібрав колекцію латинської, африкано-португальської, африканської, бразильської танцювальної музики та бразильского драм-енд-бейсу початку 2000х. Це перша частина-латина.
Давно бажаєте чогось, шо не техно і не брейкбіт - це воно! Хочеться посумувати про те, як було класно і прохолодно в травні - це те, шо зараз треба! Якшо вам хочеться, шоб вас заохотили і дали енергії - також воно!  Глибокі танцювальні культури екзотичних народів коротко представлені в цьому міксі. Запис був зроблений під час виступу в клубі Брухт у травні цього року. Meggist коментує: «Того вечора я досліджував UK-звучання. Я зіграв UK в своєму стилі - багато електро звуків, насичені мелодії та вокали різного тембру. Грувові бас-лінії та ядкі перкусії - це все створювало атмосферу того вечора»

Meggist is a Kyiv-based DJ originally from Kharkiv and co-founder of @observers.experience. His selections are characteristically filled with electro and broken rhythms. However, this mix is special — it’s dedicated to UK sounds.

The recording was made during a performance at the club Brukht in May of this year. Meggist comments: “That evening I was exploring UK sound. I played UK in my own style — lots of electro elements, rich melodies, and vocals of various timbres. Groovy basslines and sharp percussion — all of this created the atmosphere of that night.”
