Last month we had something of a first for the Pin Pal Club - an AA single. Neurotic Fiction sent us two songs and we liked them both so much we thought we'd just put the pair out. Today we're belatedly sharing the second track (subscribers have had it for a month), Generals - a slower but more textured track with plenty more lovely harmonies. To our ears it sounds like a wonderful amalgamation of spaghetti westerns, 60's girl groups and really decent pop punk.

The band are currently based in Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter and have been members of many of your favourite bands. Collectively their CV includes the likes of Twisted, The Fairweather Band, Deadlines, The Bellamys and Personal Best. The project was originally started as an excuse for "four friends to hang out and write music", the outcome of which was a very good EP of songs "learnt and recorded in one weekend" and released on the excellent Riots not Diets. Mediator & Generals are both a clear progression from those early recordings and have got us hoping that Sean, Livi, Rory and Rosey find time to start hanging out more regularly.

Mediator / Generals were recorded at Cathays Community Centre and recorded and mixed by Jon Mohajer. Mastered by Joe Caithness.

Hello Hello Hello everyone!!

2016 was indeed a year of ups and downs, but I can easily say it was my best year in music, ever! So many of us put in the hard work to get ready for whatever 2017 has in store for us. I released an album and an EP, I played SXSW officially, played at Norman Music Festival for the 3rd time, and watched all my friends accomplish so many things. I give thanks to everyone I met, everyone who came to my shows, everyone who has bought my music, and everyone who has stood with me in these fast, changing times. 

This little ambient work is to celebrate the new year and to take time to relax before we go to back to jobs/school/whatever you are doing <3
