Horizontal Sets

The Revolving bridge was a portable bridge concept designed by Leonardo Da Vinci intended for military use. The main objective was to facilitate mobility helping armies to navigate unfamiliar terrain with less difficulty, and more easily escape from pursuing forces. A concept that seen from their current musical point of view has a lot to do with it.

“The idea starts from building a bridge between this current abnormality and the return to real life on a sea of ​​sound waves, creating a journey of peaks and valleys around electronics with a horizontal vocation, sound textures and contemporary chamber music”.

a_mal_gam_a took shape, back in 2016, when Diskoan (Juan Peralta) and Josephine's Soundscapes (José Salas) joined forces to create a research platform to explore electronic music beyond conventional parameters.

In this DJ-set they bring the dynamics of their sessions at "Avalovara, club de escucha", a pioneering monthly listening club in Madrid, where the most unusual music and visuals induce the attendees to a special state that encourages active listening and sensory experience mixed with (less conventional) ludic enjoyment.

In April 2021, a_mal_gam_a has curated the program for En Pausa, a festival  dedicated to horizontal music and deep listening.

The session was recorded in the @radio-relativa studios in Madrid.

Currently being resident for @my-pleasure, DANCE CAVE and Avalovara listening club. He also curates the official post parties of ARCO, the international art fair, as member of @a_mal_gam_a, a cell of independent musical action based in Madrid. Also founder of @calmamadrid his compromise with horizontal music has been one of his priorities in the last years.

Currently resident dj at listening club Avalovara, CALMA and DANCE CAVE, along with Josephine with whom he co-founded a_mal_gam_a, a creative cell that was part of the 2019 Paral·lel Festival line-up, and has curated the official ARCO (International Contemporary Art Fair) post-parties for the past four years.

덱 위에서 활동한지 20년이 넘는 시간, 그리고 마드리드의 언더그라운드 씬에서 활동한 오랜 시간들, 그것이 Diskoan 커리어이다.
그의 셋은 예측할 수 없는 질감들을 생성하고 미지의 세계로 리스너들을 인도하며, 현대적인 챔버 뮤직과 전복적인 아방가르드 사운드들을 포함한다. 최근 리스닝 클럽 Avalovara, CALMA 그리고 DANCE CAVE 에서 Paral·lel 페스티벌 라인업에 이름을 올렸으며, a_mal_gam_a 의 공동 창립자 Josephine 과 레지던트 DJ로 활동하며, ARCO (International Contemporary Art Fair) 의 애프터 파티를 지난 몇 년 동안 큐레이팅 해오고 있다.

CALMA is a platform dedicated to less conventional electronic music with an horizontal vocation. The group consists of F-on, Vrika, Diskoan and Josephine from a_mal_gam_a, and they are working from Madrid, Spain, since 2019.

CALMA 는 수평적 작업들로 상업적이지 않은 전자음악을 위한 플랫폼이다. 이 그룹은 F-on, Vrika, Diskoan 그리고 a_mal_gam_a 의 Josephine 으로 구성되어 있다. 이들은 2019년부터 스페인, 마드리드에서 작업을 해왔다.

Diskoan is a one hand clap!!!! 

Madrid based DJ and producer since the late 90's. Influenced by black and komische music, Diskoan's sets combine space and hip movement for unpredictable sessions, guiding listeners into the unknown. 

Diskoan has been resident dj at The Room, Ganimedes,The Space Cadet and Demode Club. Currently hosts the resident dj position for MyPleasure, DANCE CAVE and Avalovara listening club. He also curates the official post parties of ARCO, the international art fair, as member of @a_mal_gam_a, a cell of independent musical action based in Madrid. Also founder of @calmamadrid his compromise with horizontal music has been one of his priorities in the last years.
