Tyler is a The Hague based dj, originally from the States. He fell in love with electronic music while living in Amsterdam and is djing for almost 7 years. You can’t place him in any genre, cause he’s attracted to catchy melodies and enjoy the challenge of making different styles work together while keeping the energy going. Ultimately, he want to recreate the feeling for other people that he felt when he first fell in love with electronic music. He had a lot of fun recording our 10th tape.

Whoop whoop, first repdigit aka Schnapszahl for Disko Promillo. Let’s celebrate episode 011 by the Halle based dj René Pieux. He’s a member of Station Endlos in Halle and is a creative allrounder. He is constructing stages and decorations for several events, clubs and festivals. But his real passion is about standing behind the decks and turning knobs. The sound he’s playing is moving between deep and technoid grooves and basslines, something like indie dance and house, paired with memorable vocals.

Nøvae’s first time standing behind the dj booth was in 2017 in a little bar in Lübeck. From this point in her life, she fell in love with djing, electronic music and known, that this is the right place for her. A little later she moved to Leipzig and started the collective muy bien. Since 2020 she is resident at Brotfabrik crew and since 2022 she is also resident at Westhafen Leipzig. The sound nøvae’s playing is very variable, her typical sound is a mix between progressive melodies and indie dance.

Vive la Disko Promillo, or something like that…we are really glad to announce our first France import, Endrik Schroeder to our Disko Promillo Tape Series. The Grenoble based Artist was influenced initially by Jean Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Prince or Art of Noise. Later he added the love of techno, electro and Italo disco to his arsenal and got a key role in Grenoble's electronic music scene.
Furthermore, he released on labels such as Zone-Music, Ritmo Fatale, Bordello A Parigi, Records or not Records and Interface Records. Some of his records are still in playlists of big artists like Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke, Jennifer Cardini, Boris Dlugosh, Arnaud Rebotini, Skatebaard and many more. Molto Augusto, the next Disko Promillo tape is like an Italian ciabatta, crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. Tape 014 was recorded by the Brotfabrik member Stefan Radon aka RN86. Stefan was born and grown up in Grimma, a smaller town near Leipzig. After finishing his training, he wanted to make his dream of a professional music carrier come true and moved to Leipzig for studying audio design at the Deutschen POP academy. Beside his studies, Stefan and his friends founded an underground techno club in 2018, called Brotfabrik, by the idea of: “from friends for friends”. RN86 describes his sound as progressive, melodic, driving and rough – music that makes your body move. Please enjoy Disko Promillo Tape 014 by RN86.

Engine is running…we are lift off…rocket launch complete. Welcome to the outer space Disko Promillo Tape by Anne Karmané. In the summer of 2019, Anne finally started DJing after dreaming and talking about it for many many years. When she did it, it went fast: In 2020 she had her first gigs, podcasts, and livestreams. She played over 50 official gigs across Germany, her first festivals and became part of the Nuremberg collective Hertz & Seele. Over the last two years she has been building her reputation as a fine selector and energy centric DJ.
At the moment, you'll find her most (on line ups) in Erfurt and Nuremberg, where she is strongly rooted. Her spacy sound hovers somewhere in the sphere between indie dance, disco, retrowave and trancy house. 80s vibes, vocals and synthesizers are her world. By the way: the name “Karmané” is taken from the “Karman Line” from science which describes the edge of space. Fasten your seatbelts, we are travaling through space!

Hot summer doesn’t last forever, but Disko Promillo Tape 016 by Felkon is hot as f***. The Dresden based producer and dj Felkon started his music career as teenager by playing in a fun-punk-band, called “Die Pilger”. When the group disbanded in 2010, he started to contemplate with electronic music. Two years later, Felkon had his first gigs in Dresden, Germany and even more throughout Europe.
Felkon’s first solo record was released by Blossom Kollektiv in October 2014. The "Sunset Stories EP", which is a perfect example for both his taste in music and production skills, got a lot of support from great artists such as Jimpster, John Talabot, Job Jobse and many more. After his second release on Alex Niggemann’s Berlin based label Soulfooled, he took quite a break. But after all, Felkon is back and here to stay. So we can assume 2022 will be everything but silent…

Disko Promillo Tape 017 – Delia Plangg

Days getting shorter - nights getting longer, to master the time transition to the dark side of the year we start right now with a dance workout, Disko Promillo Tape 017 by Delia Plangg. 
The dj, producer and singer Delia Plangg is born in Dresden and grew up in a musical family between Dresden and Berlin. As a 90’s kid, she loved surfing between different genres and discovered the diversity of electronic music. In her early days she started singing in choirs and bands, but also took piano lessons. Later on, she also started studying ‘cultural studies and music management’ and ‘popular music and media’ in Jena, Weimar and Paderborn.
In 2016 she started her first electronic music project in Dresden, called: “Projekt BR” with 3 other artists. They produced deep, bassy and rough sounds to develop new sounds of dubstep, drumstep and electro-house. Since that she improved her djing and producing skills. Delia released several synthwave tracks with UfoGuy, a Dresden based producer and other regional artists. In 2019 she started organizing a party series together with Martin Saupe in the club TBA in Dresden and became a resident of the Berlin collective Johnny Knüppel. Since 2022 she is also part of the Halle based club and collective Station Endlos.
Delia still prefers thinking outside the box and likes to mix different genres and styles of music, like deep melodic house, dark disco and indie dance.

The Leipzig based artist ANKA is part of the @italofundamentalo Collective, which organize several events in Saxony. Her sound scape reaches from disco to breakbeat with funky, groovy and bouncy sounds and elements. ANKAs true love are retro classics from the 80s and bangers with heavy bass, like Italo disco or UK garage. Influenced by dancing, singing and art she curates her sets across diverse genres. The mission is complete when the dance floor is filled with a happy crowd.

New Year’s Eve is already over and time is passing by like we are on fast forward. While recovering from a ridiculous celebration of the last hours in 2022, the Zehlendorfer Disco Squad took their time to get you the groove of 2023 with some Cosmic Disco tunes in Disko Promillo Tape 019 by Zehlendorfer Disco Squad.

Born and raised in the early nineties in southwest Berlin, these two did not yet know that their paths would once cross one another. 25 years and plenty of DJ-Gigs later, they stood next to one another at a home party in Zehlendorf. The circumstances were not the best: really old CDJs, an extremely small DJ booth and another Covid lockdown about to occur. However, they had a bag full of cosmic tunes, their Disco-finger on lock and a Rhubarb-Prosecco-Mixture filled in their glasses. Since then, the two have been drifting around weightlessly between Cosmic-, Dark- and Astrological Disco.

In the last couple of years the Zehlendorfer Disco Squad has been playing at festivals such as Feel Festival, Evolution Festival and Hive Festival. In the new year they will be starting their own Party Series: "Disco Futurismo" - with the kickoff at Crack Bellmer Club Berlin on the 19.01.2023 - full warp ahead!

You’ve dressed up in your fanciest party outfit, put on some makeup and styled your hair extra special. Now you’re in front of the gym, just a few steps away from entering the dancefloor. Doors are opening, the decoration is over the top, there’s glitter and disco lights everywhere – but everyone’s still standing on the sidelines. You know, this is your moment and reach inside your pocket to get the mixtape that will everybody drive crazy and ready to move. The DJ puts your mixtape on full volume and the music starts playing. In this moment, you remember it’s corn season and what’s better than wandering around in a corn maze?! So, let’s do it! As you enter the corn maze, you are immediately surrounded by towering corn stalks that seem to stretch endlessly in every direction. The rustling sound of the leaves and the earthy smell of the cornfield create an immersive and exciting atmosphere. Suddenly, you hear some dull bass sounds and follow the melodies. In the end the music successfully navigates you through the maze and brings you to the exit. As a reward for this hard challenge, you are invited for dancing to Disko Promillo Mixtape by @serotoni_music.

SEROTONI is a neurotransmitter for the dance floor. A chemical combination of Italo Disco, Indie Dance, Bouncy House and a pinch of Dark Disco. dschuLee’s journey began with the passion of creating live music with a friend, centered around synthesizers and drum machines. Meet @Fahed-El-Huwayan, also known as Helmut, a 28-year-old beatboxer, live performer, and emerging DJ hailing from Jordan. In 2018, Fahed made the bold move to Germany and seamlessly immersed himself into the vibrant Underground Club scene, an experience that sparked an instant passion for the pulsating beats and electrifying atmosphere. Fahed's journey in the world of music is marked by his triumphant victories at the Jordanian Beatbox Championship for three consecutive years (2015, '16, '17). This accomplishment led him to the global stage, where he showcased his beatboxing prowess at the World Beatbox Championship in 2018, hosted at the Astra Kulturhaus Berlin. Transitioning into the realm of DJing in 2020, Helmut co-founded the @happalekollektiv Dresden, where he collaborates with like-minded colleagues to carve out a niche in the Underground Scene. His performances have graced various clubs, venues, and festivals across Germany and Jordan, captivating audiences with his dynamic style that spans Minimal House, Break beats, Tech-House, and a hint of Garage. RiOD. is a newcomer DJ from Leipzig. In 2021, she started DJing initially with a friend as 'Das Dynamische Duo - 444'. The following year, she continued her career as a solo artist under the name Ri0D. For many years, she attended parties in clubs herself, gaining a sense of how a set should be structured to skillfully lead the audience into hip-swaying. Eventually, she developed a penchant for retro classics and rare remixes, allowing her to consistently create diverse and exciting sets. 
Her sound will bring you funky, bouncy and energizing grooves, guaranteed to get you grooving. 
She loves enchanting dancing hearts with everything from downtempo to electronica funky house, indie dance, old school techno and dance, mixing classics with today's fresh sound, sparking joy and happiness within you. Her vibe is infectious, and her laughter lights up the room.

Apart from the fact that Benjamin has been playing more or less regularly for a little over 10 years, he has also produced a lot of music. Starting at the age of 13, he knows how to deal with track structures and musical know-how and uses these skills at every opportunity to play.
In addition to housy disco tracks, the Dresden native also loves playing techno and/or drum and bass tunes. Mixing different styles is a given in his sets, as is the use of the complete technical set-up in the booth. From analogue to digital, nothing should be missing. Not the backspins anyway. To have a challenge is fun.

Well, what can I say...
when it comes to music, I have to admit that I’m addicted! No matter where I am, if there’s something to listen to and a certain sound reaches me, I’m immediately pulled out of my thoughts. Where does it come from? Who came up with the idea? Where can I listen to it again to further trace the sound?
I’ve been DJing just for myself, just for fun at first place. Nothing serious. The more seriously I sort my playlists and arrange my Set‘s.
I like to mix genres, primary electronic - different velocities - heavyweight basslines - always a bit dirty, the kicks need a certain punch and the drops seduce with creativity. I love the element of surprise when listening to new music. Just as much, I love using creativity to lead my listeners toward that moment of surprise. Have fun with the Set.
