This is a shortened reconctruction of my 3-hour closing set I played as CHOREOPHILA at about blank a few weeks ago for @hraberlin . The first half consists of bouncy trance and hardhouse. The middle part is a bit more dreamy and the last tracks are pure trance anthems. The last track was a bonus track.

Berlin-based CHOREOPHILA developed his passion for electronic music at old school raves, hence his musical style is strongly influenced by the period of the mid 90s to early aughts. CHOREOPHILA means „love of dancing“ and this credo defines his sound. Spanning a wide genre range from house to trance he aims to create uplifting energies that will make you move your body. 

He is a resident dj at HRA (@hraberlin) and recently started his own podcast- and soon-to-be event series Juicy Culture (@juicyculture).

I discovered electronic music with ‘19 and this enthusiasm was heightened even more by the DJ Dou Sportbrigade Sparwasser (@sportbrigade-sparwasser). Playing with melodic, progressive sounds and the connection with deep basses always created a very atmospheric sound in the sets that invited you to drift and dance. 

The selection of tracks is based on a rhythmic minimalistic, but at the same time profound harmony. The aim is to use this scenery to represent a picture of music in a pure aesthetic and trying to created a story. Many of these tracks have accompanied me for years and have always given me a feeling of ''Fernweh'' in many post-festival scenarios. Thus, I conclude this set with one of my biggest favorites from Extrawelt.
