So I'm writing a script for a pilot for a sitcom and decided the cinema would be a great work place to portray (cos, well it is). The show synopsis is about one of the last independent Irish cinemas competing to stay in business with a feckless manager and equally incompetent staff.

 What's going on behind the scenes? 
 They don't show this stuff on the silver screen, 
 Where Oscars go for the best smile, 
 Or sweeping up between the aisles, 
 Drunks and bums and wayward ones,
