The sixth entry in the DISPLAYSOLO series finds @my-head composing a sprawling four part epic entitled “Catharsis”. A collection of vignettes that sees moody ambient murmurs surround and envelop shambling rhythms and piercing synth melodies while distant vocal hymns harmonize with mechanical clicks. “Catharsis” is an audio assemblage expressing the primordial with the aesthetics of the new familiar. A series of brief reprieves in tense times.
