DTP#01 - Ergo Proxy

The next contribution to our podcast series: Bianco Negativo.

Based in Milan, the duo runs the labels Marguerite Records and Tocca il futuro, strongly rooted in dark and cold sounds from the past and present influenced by wave, synths and early electronics to more ebm-ish reflections on new beat and drum machines which you can also hear in their own productions and in their radioshow on Rinse France. 
In our opinion this podcast is a perfect example for their signature approach.

DTP#02 - Bianco Negativo

Penstkart is a DJ and also a VJ/Video producer from Glasgow. She is part of the all-female-led DJ collective EpiKa, based in Edinburgh, where you can catch her DJing bi-monthly. She also holds a residency at Radio Buena Vida, a community led internet radio station, also based in Glasgow. 
As a visual artist and VJ she goes by the name of Georgina Penstkart. Her residency for visuals work is the notorious queer night, SHOOT YOUR SHOT in Glasgow. 
The mix she provided for our podcast series is electro through and through, with a kinda dark and ominous atmosphere for your listening pleasure.

DTP#03 - Penstkart

Our 4th podcast is made by Asymmetrical. 
He is involved in a lot of projects, some of them known like Fauna53 (along with LKSMN and LDWG), Cobret Voltaire (with LDWG) and Distorted Portrait, others of them unknown (and probably it's better for everyone in this way). Further he‘s a resident DJ of collective Zerouno in Rome and, under the pseudonym of John English,  part of the Knick Knack Yoda team.
He also runs the label Raw Culture known for its great mixture of  industrial-fired dungeon music ranging from  wave to machinic and raw rhythm excursions (especially in his own productions) to dirty electro and drum experiments.
His mix is blending together all these different times, sounds, instruments, rhythms and genres to a powerful and eclectic ride straight to the eerie and back.

Leipzig peeps: by cosmic Intervention Alice in Flames and Asymmetrical will play at the same party at Mjut this Saturday 30th of April. Join us!

DTP#04 - Asymmetrical

We welcome Annechoic to our podcast series.
Currently living in Berlin, she does film post-production and produces dark music from atmospheric sounds to cold electro which you can find on her own label Audiofugitives as well as on Brokntoys and Endless Illusion.
This mix is a sinister journey through electronic plains, ebmish landscapes and acidic techno all chopped with her typical approach to electro that we like so much.

DTP#05 - Annechoic

The sixth addition to our podcast series comes from Dyktando.

Based in Warsaw, he is associated with the crews Brutaż and Syntetyk. Syntetyk is also the label where he put out his first ep, followed by an ep on Altered States Tapes and tracks on different compilations, f.e. on Dystatik. 

Musicwise Dyktando shovels between clinging ebm, the industrial sounds of techno and electro, not afraid of vocals and wave excursions to create something cruel on his own.

All of this you can find in this mix all held together by a kinda harsh and dark feeling, switching from new beat drums to ebm stompers to some unexpected fields to stumbling electro and melancholic musical wastelands. Be prepared.

Podcast Number 07 is made by Petros Spatharos.

He runs a monthly radio show called "Forget the rules" on Athens based Fade Radio and has released his haunting productions on labels like Dalmata Daniel, Meta Moto, OSM Tapes, Artificial Horizon and his recent album "Spacetime Adventures" on Body Musick, just to name a few.

Metallic rhythms,  withering vocals on slow and heavy hitters define  his trademark sound as you can also hear in this dark and kinda frightening mix.

Going back to the glory days of Front club until nowadays a regular of Golden Pudel, Dieter never lost track of finding and keeping an immense Panorama of different music and genres, all reflected in his immense output of high quality mixes.

Which brings us to this mix of fast paced electro, old and new - all   go with the flow in his special Dieter-style. Something to heat up a dancefloor to its melting point, at least in our opinion.

Disposable Time is a crew by Alice in Flames and FAQ from Leipzig/Germany. They host a bi-monthly Radio Show on Callshop Radio, organise a bi-monthly Party and run a unregular Mix Series. Musicwise they are focused on electro and wavey, machinic beat structures and synths.

FAQ
One half of Disposable Time, his musical interests lie in all sounds and experiments coming from analogue machines, synths and other instruments. From electro to slow and heavy gritters to all sorts wavey and back, he is more and more appreciating the blurring of genre boundaries as long as it feels weirdly sad or angrily weird.

Dissemblance
Hailing from Paris/France, the sound of Dissemblance murkes between old synths, drum machines and dreamlike structures all held together by her expressive vocals. Her productions on Mannequin, L.I.E.S. or Yarrow Ballett (to name a few) are speaking for themselves all in their own gloomy language which became Dissemblances signature sound. Also in her mixes you can get into a boundaryless journey of cold wave, acidic pop, techno excursions and proto-industrial.
