Hot off the back of winning the 'Best Vocalist' award at the Drum & Bass Awards and 'Best Track' at the Youth Music Awards, 2023 also saw Emily Makis rack up over 25 million streams on her anthem 'Phoneline' with Pola & Bryson and co-write Becky Hill and Chase & Status' massive hit 'Disconnect', which rose to #6 in the UK Charts. 

Having now cemented herself of the most recognisable voices in the UK underground scene, 'My Type' sees Emily up the levels once again, with this latest release intertwining elements of D&B and jungle with that iconic 00's R&B sound.
