A sunset set at Waking Life, Portugal, in June 2023. I DJed after Vlada and before Anthony Naples, in front of a beautiful lake with the sun setting behind me and an incredibly wholesome, engaged, positive, locked-in crowd in front of me. Kept this one pretty measured in pace, and went for expansive, moody, euphoric, maybe also a little psychedelic in vibe, sorta imagining gazing into the deep starry abyss.

On what will be a fantastic day for dance music lovers, Glasgow’s Riverside Festival, along with Soma Records, will also be releasing an exclusive, good causes charity single featuring remixes by 3 of the scene-leaders in house, techno and electronic. Spreading positive vibes through music with their isolation interpretations of Slam’s genre-defining underground anthem 'Positive Education' are the inimitable Paula Temple, the mighty Skream and the maverick JD Twitch of Optimo.

The live stream will be available via Be-At TV on Facebook and Youtube, with donations encouraged to a trio of charities and initiatives to enable them continue to do amazing work supporting some of the most vulnerable in our society : Glasgow’s Children Hospital, Tech Device Network, (launched by RF20 & Soma Records publicist Jenn Nimmo-Smith to keep loved ones in care connected with video calling devices) and the emergency PPE manufacturing and distribution initiative Vise Up which was launched by Glasgow’s renowned arts & music venue SWG3.

ELANDA, is a multidisciplinary artist blending DJing, live performance, and somatic movement practices and sculpting. She has performed at prominent venues and festivals across Scotland and England, earning a dj residency at Glasgow’s iconic La Cheetah, where her sets fuse Afro inspired electronica , UK bass, jazz, electronica, dubstep and more. 

In 2024, ELANDA transitioned into live performance, incorporating music production, vocals, and stagecraft to connect with audiences in a deeper, more dynamic way.

As a co-founder of the Lüuma Collective and Annies Eden, they create conscious spaces through events that celebrate holistic healing, sound baths, and somatic workshops. ELANDA’s work is dedicated to fostering community and empowering personal expression through music and movement.
