For the sing along crew this one's on a German language tip for AK1200's outing on his Is What It Is remix. In Vain gets another dusting down, this time by man like Rido. Opening with some epic keys this one shreds into steroid locomotive levels from the drop and doesn't let up. Pulling the vocals throughout to balance out the intricacies of drums and b line this one guaranteed to move the floor.

More In Vain re-working, this time from the don NickBee, who takes it on his own unique journey through the pads. Maintaining key elements from the original but with some NickBee stank on it, this one charges out the stacks like a juiced up gazelle.

 B Ooof! anga incoming from the big CA. This one will test your rig to its limits, as well as your ear holes. Flipping on some wild timings and counter rhythms this wonky number shakes things up across the board and delivers at every stage.

Mr Switch dropping his usual level of cinematic excellence once again on this one. Building through haunting vocals and sweeping LFOs into a gorgeous stepper reminiscent of the late great Marcus Intalex or a Bungle epic. Proper 3am, head down, heavy rolling vibes especially when you enter into the back end of the track that gives you the full spectrum sonic workout. Certified.

Another take on VC’s banga In Vain, this time coming from the buttons of Leon Switch. Featuring his trademark attention to subtle details within this one hits different to other remixes of this one. Ditching the vocal loops of the original, seating them in the back in favor of a driving B line and forward facing the drum patterns its almost unrecognizable in this new form.

Hybris, aka Evan Vischi, is an American-born Czech-based electronic music producer, with releases on some of the finest labels in drum & bass, such as Invisible and Metalheadz. 
After surfacing in the Washington, D.C. drum & bass scene, Hybris moved to Prague, where he spent years crafting his own unique sound. His efforts culminated in his first full length album, Emergence, which was released on Noisia’s Invisible Recordings in 2014, and was met with critical acclaim across the board.
After a series of single EP’s on some of the most prestigious labels, Hybris founded Pseudoscience Recordings and uses it as an outlet to present his unfiltered vision to the world. 
Hybris continues to refine his unique brand of highly intricate, streamlined sonic artillery, always pushing forward in innovative and unpredictable ways.

Computerartist, aka Marek Verhovsky is a talented music producer & DJ based in the North Moravian city of Havirov.
The beginning of his musical career dates back to 2008, when he was charmed by the broken beats and dark sounds of the Neurofunk producers SPOR, Noisia, Phace, etc., and began to create his own music.
Since then Marek was the 2010 winner of the Czech Drum & Bass Awards (in the “Talent of the Year” category), and has released his music on multiple labels, (Eatbrain, Dissected Culture, Citrus, Disturbed, and Forbidden Society, to name a few).
In 2015 he remixed Foo Fights (Landscapers) the Remix Ep II for Dissected Culture, alongside Stealth and Human Error. Additionally, in 2016, Marek and his brother in arms, Qo, together started the label Hoofbeats.
We now welcome him back for his second remix with DC.

The flip side draws on juicy synth wave elements upfront, dropping you into a neon future/past on 1984 keys, until a bassline travels back in time to drag you into 2020 by the balls. An angry bass horn calls its war cry on ravers everywhere, and 'F*CK IT' demands a lot through its militant vibe and delivers in equal measure. The persistent B-line drills down through the track, pinning you down whilst the heavy stepper drums stomp your guts out for good measure.

VC / BARB (collectively – Ram Records, Renegade Hardware, MethLab, Trendkill, C4C, Viper, Hospital, Lifestyle, EKOU – and more) and Block Dodger (Metafiziq, Trust, Close2Death and Neurofunk Grid) have built something epic here for Dissected Culture. Floaty vocals draw you through the dramatic intro until the complex drums and LFOs scissor kick you in the face when they land. Not comprised of your usual 16 bar cycles ‘IN VAIN’ takes a few routes throughout its run time. Double time kicks make way for some rapid fire bass drops and ear stabbing keys, combined with small break downs across the track and stitched together by the haunting vocals, this track throws a lot at you and keeps you guessing throughout. 
The track gathers extra momentum after the breakdown and launches into a frantic finish that will no doubt destroy the dance in short order.

Alongside its gritty synth stabs and some signature quick-fire hats tapping against a stomping rhythm Silently Majority is full of mystery and counterpoint work that gives it swing as well as soul, with a hearty side of meat. This one Cobra Kai's its way through your speakers; it strikes first and strikes hard with no mercy.
