With great pleasure we are sharing the full recording of the set our good friend Bufiman played at the Warning 55hrs Rave in April 2022. Nummer is a Berlin based duo comprised of Silvere & Manu, two exiled french cats who started their project in London back in 2010. Releasing a string of records on Going Good, Butter Sessions and their own Nummer Music imprint. In 2018, the boys further broadened their reach with the launch of the Natural Selections label & night.
In their own words:
"We recorded this mix just before the return of our residency night 'Natural Selections' at Ohm, tracks that we had been putting aside especially for that occasion. Bringing together old school and new school prog house, some tunes found on random cd comps, some approximately ripped records and a few bargained soulseek steals. This mix is a glimpse into that moment in time."

As @sleepd, childhood friends Maryos Syawish and Corey Kikos have greatly helped shape Melbourne's underground scene over the last decade. Between them, they have Iraqi and Maltese heritage and put out music on the likes of Incienso, Play On and Cocktail d'Amore Music as well as their own blog/party/label Butter Sessions. Like their expressive live show, it explores "the rave unconscious" so think everything from dreamy pads to driving rhythms, gritty electro to cosmic techno. 

This week's podcast is a superb showcase of their style: a mix that is constantly on the move, building momentum as rhythms go from elastic and bouncy to more driving and sleek. Percussion is perfectly sprinkled in to give extra texture, while nebulous synths add the colour as the pressure builds and builds. This is physical, psychedelic, emotional, trance-inducing electronic music that follows the familiar arc of a well-executed mix but in all new and unfamiliar ways.

Carly's style oozes class, with an eclectic old-school steeze, blending breaks, trance & electro effortlessly.

Carly now runs her own party in Berlin, "dissident", and plays frequently around Berlin & surrounds.
