Dissimulator is a 4 piece Metal band from Tacoma, Washington. Formed in October 2012 by Jared Dines, Zack Holt, and David Montalvo. Since then, the band has self produced an album entitled Factions, performed locally, and are currently working on their second album release. The band's music can be heard with influences from bands such as Impending Doom and Suicide Silence, with a taste of their own original sound. Their initial release of 5 tracks had caught the attention of Total Deathcore, All Things Christian Metal, All Things Christian Rock, Christian Metal Kingdom, and many more. Although the music was there, the band was only able to play a single show due to the lack of a bassist, but that changed when the lineup was completed once DM Tragedy joined.
