Since Klipar launched his Dissipate imprint in 2013, the Portuguese bass music label has grown from strength to strength. Now up to its fifth release, the project has been a labour of love for Lisbon-based Klipar, who discovered his love for DJing early on in life.

Moving through trance to his current tastes in UK funky, grime, UK garage, bass, house and beyond, he has seen success with releases on Enchufada, Overcooked, No Brainer and now his own Dissipate, and is now set for even higher heights with DISS005, Form and Day, Night. Get ready as Klipar takes you to another world.

Form kicks up right from the off, with a distinct and insistent beat and more than a shade of old skool UK garage in its feel and atmosphere. Klipar brings the surging synths before the bassline kicks in, completing the journey. Immediately groovy and funky, Form will appeal to all of those who like their bass music serious and brilliantly constructed. Klipar brings all of his skills and experience to bear on this amazing tune. The track will find success in the clubs, blending as it does style and genre. Dig deep, this is one rewarding piece of music.

Day, Night has more of the classic underground feel of its predecessor, working around a snatch of a vocal sample, which is underpinned with more skip beats and fresh, morphing bass. Klipar moves through a range of emotions, as he slowly and steadily builds the track, cutting the midrange at some points, bringing the low end back at others. There is a kaleidoscope of beats on offer, making for a seriously epic track that brings to mind some of the classic house and garage jams of years gone by. Make sure you check Day, Night if you like good music.
