En el mundo del techno y la música electrónica, ha habido muchos dúos que han pasado a la posteridad por su música genial y por su saber hacer detrás de los platos. Luego, ha habido un puñado que han conseguido alcanzar el estrellato por esto y por el absoluto espectáculo que brindan al público en cada una de sus actuaciones. Este es el caso de nuestros protagonistas de esta entrevista.

Angello del Core y Gabriel Padrevita son dos italianos, amigos de toda la vida, a quienes el confinamiento ha juntado en este proyecto b2b. Ambos con sólidas carreras antes de juntarse, siendo del mismo pueblo de Italia, ahora son uno de los dúos más divertidos y auténticos de la escena techno, especialmente en su espectro más duro. La influencia del hardstyle, el sonido rave, el acid y el techno están patente en cada una de sus sesiones y producciones, en las que además consiguen una química sin igual con un público que cae extenuado y rendido ante la selección musical y los edits loquísimos de esta pareja de amigos.

Tras un 2020 en el que tuvieron tiempo de sentarse a reflexionar, se puede decir que este es un año satisfactorio hasta el momento para el dúo italiano. Tras un largo período de inactividad parece que las puertas de los clubes vuelven a abrírseles, aunque sea lentamente. Tras una gira increíble en Colombia, en la que describen como un sueño el poder volver a los platos, se acercan muchas actuaciones interesantes, ¡también en España! Epistolar is the first Various Artist of an epistolary genre, originating from a collaboration between Raise Records and Radio Loubard. Its structure is composed of correspondences of several authors, several characters, several sensibilities, and several messages. Aiming at co-constructing a story in perpetual motion, Epistolar is the result of various connections on which each artist depends.

The concept is simple : an artist produces a track which is sent to another artist whose mission is to freely modify the initial message. The artist adds to this letter his or her message before sending it to another artist. The recipient does the same without knowing what the first artists composed and so on.

With the last letter acting as an open epilogue, Epistolar’s narrative is available to new authors, encouraging the continuation of a never-ending, evolving and collaborative story. Listening to it as a conversation between artists, the listener is introduced to the various connections making him/her an integral part of the movement.

Native of Grenoble in France, her techno is mental, obscure and percussive, calling for disconnection from the present moment to dive into the depths of the mind.
