A deep mist frames... a spring breeze blows... and you gaze up to the sky, where the evening moon glows pale and red, while the charming beats celestially resonate on your head. That's exactly what happened at the Seagull Beach in Odessa, where the powerhouse collective of Vagante welcomed Simone Adinolfi, Denis Korablev, and Olga Korol for a truly magical night. Today, we're lucky enough to relive those magic moments with a 2-hour recording of Simone's set, as the No Rush music boss brought together all his groovy minimal influences, giving life to a breathtaking charming experience.

This week's Source to Cycle podcast comes from the Romanian duo, Livio & Roby.  The duo have been DJing and producing together since the mid-2000s, and have released a slew of EPs and singles on labels like Saved, Cecille, Desolat, Supernature and Vakant.  They also released a long player on Steve Lawler's Viva Music back in 2008.

The duo join Luciano on Sunday 29th September at Vagabundos @ Boom, Ibiza, alongside Felipe Venegas and Alfonso Leon.

On this week’s Cadenza Music Source to Cycle podcast, we welcome a British DJ who has played a hugely pivotal part in house music’s development since the late 1980s.

Eddie Richards has been described as “Britain’s godfather of house & techno” by the clubbing magazine Mixmag, cutting his teeth on the London DJ circuit at the legendary Camden Palace in the 80s, and at important clubs like Clink Street and Heaven in London, and the Hacienda in Manchester.  One of the first DJs to ever champion house music, Eddie was a firm favourite on the UK rave scene, and over the years has become widely recognized as one of the founders of the often misinterpreted genre of tech-house.  Alongside Terry Francis and Nathan Coles, Eddie has been an integral part of the Wiggle nights for over 20 years now and also plays regularly at Fabric in London, as well as clubs all over the world.

Eddie also been producing right from the start of the house explosion, his Jolly Roger moniker released blueprint acid house in 1988/1989, and he’s consistently released records ever since.
