As promised we bring you the second guest mix of this month. This time we invited Spanish origin DJ/Producer Luke Garcia to the Distant Grooves family.

Growing up Luke had the good fortune of growing up in a vibrant Madrid where you could find clubs and festivals curating diverse music. From House to Deep House to Melodic House and even harder shades of Techno inspired Luke to get into electronic music more. His interest to learn more and become a professional took him to various clubs in Moscow, Athens, Mykonos, Paris, Dubai, Buenos Aires, Ibiza, Miami and many more destinations.

With releases on labels like Innervisions, MoBlack Records, Dantze, Connected Frontline and his music played by artists like Dixon, Ame,Trikk, Solomun, Andhim, Oliver Koletzki and many more, Luke Garcia should be on your radar for 2024.

Anniversary month, Year V with Declan Burke

Waterford, Ireland, Declan was introduced to music from a very young age. Being guided by his brother and talented artists in the area he began his way into the art of music production at the early age of 11 years old. Now, 25, his passion is still the same.
Playing gigs in Waterford, his hometown, and in Berlin (September of 2022) for a Dance Artifakts showcase, he is rising in the electronic music scene. Inspired by the likes of Stimming, Impérieux, Dj Koze, Aera, Mano Le Tough, Dixon and Âme, to name a few, Declan is always looking to improve his track selection in dj sets and his music productions.
Back in May of 2021, he released an 11 track album on New York based record label, Dance Artifakts, he had solidified his craft and got to work with like-minded music enthusiasts. Most of which have become close friends of his.
He then followed up the album with a release on Bulgarian record label Urge To Dance. They had expressed interest in having him jump on board a VA Compilation with his track 'All or Nothing' and was released in December of 2022 alongside a group of highly talented producers.
In September of 2023, he debuted on PolyAmber Records with a two track EP and closed out the year with a return to Urge To Dance on their annual VA Compilation. 

For now, Declan is focusing on his productions and hopes to continue his journey within the ever growing electronic music scene.
