Since we are living in almost dystopian times, who would be better for the next episode than Distant Echoes.

The artist, who is part of the Berlin-based label Dystopian and releases his music on labels like Non-Series, Counterchange and his own imprint Out-Er, delivers an organic mix filled with melancholic melodies, hypnotic patterns and strong grooves.

He developed his passion for the darker side of electronic music at a very young age. You can hear in his productions as well in his mixes, that he is a very passionate and skillful artist. Enjoy the trip!

HYPNAUGHTIC 014 | Distant Echoes

‘Conscious Listening’ is a new podcast series by Pregnant Void record label that explores soundscapes born from the connection between deep ethereal music and the most advanced electronic musical experiments.

This month’s Podcast chapter comes from label co-founder Distant Echoes, who delivers an organic mix of deeply reflective soundscapes for us, gently oscillating between fourth-world and devotional ambient, experimental electronica and shadow-tinted downtempo. This is a journey that lets us patiently explore inner infinities and sketches tender encounters with the spiritual, mystical and sublime.

Conscious Listening Mix Series - 02 - Distant Echoes

Life After Awareness is the beginning of an inner search that finds its expression in a collection of ten soundtracks that produce very profound changes on the emotional states of each of us.
Field recordings and soothing frequencies form the backdrop for dreamlike symphony of strings, woody bass notes and plinking tones. In some tracks, the billowing ambience is free to drift like curls of smoke,
in others it is anchored by delicate pulses of percussion. Thanks to all the artists who contributed in this first edition.

Southern Italian producer Distant Echoes returns to the label after appearances on the recent Stream State compilation and 2018’s Co-Ops Vol.2. Over four tracks the Out-er ( @out_electronic_recording )label co-founder and Dystopian ( @dystopian-music ) artist transports us to four unique sound-spaces existing on parallel plains; acidic, urgent, harmonic, psychedelic. 

Enchanting synth textures, detailed modulation and shimmering arrangements designed for long mixing, are the trademarks of this new wave of productions from an artist who continues to remain true to his fundamental values - purist, explorative techno - no unnecessary builds - no gimmicks.

Distant Echoes reputation speaks for himself as he appeared on well-respected labels like Dystopian, Counterchange and Non series. By incorporating melancholic melodies and hypnotic patterns he manages to translate emotions which result in a complex but rewarding experience for the critical listener.

For this recording Distant Echoes selected music he would play at the ideal party we all wish to experience soon. He aimed for a deep and alleviating dancefloor experience which energizes the audience and allows us to re-discover the beautiful harmony on the dancefloor we all miss so much.
