Weltschmerz by Kvadral is a collection of previously unreleased works inspired by styles from the Freetekno subculture such as Tribe, Hardtek, Mental and Acid. The ten tracks were recorded in Berlin between 2018 and 2019 and have now been remastered. With the redistributed titles of the tracks, Kvadral draws attention to grievances in Berlin and the world that were on his mind.
This album is deliberately free and not available on the usual streaming platforms.

"Over the last few months, I've been busy looking through my old PC's hard drive, saving and cataloging all the projects from the old days. In the process, some of my very early Makina works have come to light. Back then, at the age of 15 or 16, I dreamed of having my own Makina album, but it never came out in this form. After many years of holding back and forgetting, I am now sharing this album with you. The tracks are left as they were back then and only now mastered by myself. These 27 tracks represent youthful recklessness and the need to be as edgy as possible, childlike innocence and complete exaggeration without the limitations of an adult mind that only compares itself to other adults."

Euphonious trance music caresses your ears, while sitting on the backseat of your parents' car heading off to the seaside for a formative summer holiday. There's nothing to worry about. Nothing to overthink. No decisions to make.

Lunartracer - Euphony '95

Take me back to an untroubled era... For me as a child of the 90s my consciousness and my memories started around 2001 when I was in preschool and everything felt easy and safe. 20 years later this exploration of the shallow water of life only feels like a dream I dreamt a long time ago and sometimes I would like to go back again and be safe again. I know I won't be able to travel back in time, but I am able to  transform my desire, anger and fear into this music enveloped in the style of the early 2000s spanish Makina and Hardcore tracks released on famous labels like Bit Music and UpTempo. This is fast overloaded rave music produced with almost infantile exaggarations and no borders of creativity in a surrounding were everything is allowed.
