Welcome to the Distinctive Electronica Group! This group holds a contest twice per month. Soundcloud users submit tracks and then vote to determine winners for the contest round. For the first round of each month, track submissions take place from the 1st - 7th, voting takes place from the 8th - 13th, and winners are announced on the 15th. For the second round of each month, track submissions take place from the 15th - 23rd, voting takes place from the 24th - 28th, and winners are announced by the start of the next month.

This group's purpose is to bring together musicians who are interested in introducing new ideas and sounds in electronically made music. Distinctive Electronica is not an exclusive Soundcloud group; anyone is welcome to join any contest round with their track submission, which can be old or new and doesn't have to be made specially for the contest. The only expectation is that the music is original to you and incorporates electronic elements. To submit a track to the contest, message this page with a link to the track, and it will be reposted on the page. 

Support and feedback between the group’s members are the main keys of this group. So please take the time to leave feedback on other people's work.
