Your Time - Demo

i wrote this with a dep for Steeleye Spam as i called them. the session was a disaster. Vick the vocalist, had worked her ass off all day. she and i connected almost immediately. she was un-assuming with a set of pipes that could handle anything. we'd pre-programmed everything before the session at Fresh Records, who had had a Massive hit with her in Strike with 'u sure do'. i'd worked out my usual way to get me on the record by arranging this vocal hook from bridge to chorus. we recorded it. the room was excited then as we gathered together for day one mix down, the 'talented' engineer wiped the whole thing. to say a small piece of me died would be an understatement. this is all that's left.
