A combination of Shoegaze, post-rock and doom metal, Beach night was composed and produced in a couple hours during a short session. Ori Taggart is still pretty hyped about the song. We hope you enjoy it as much as he does.

The strangely happy yet disturbing single from Distorted Majesty, Evoking is a bittersweet song about a lost relationship. This track is the product of Riv's signature instrumental weirdness and the calm and explosive vocal work of vocalist, Kin.

This song's instrumental was released last year on spotify last November. It has become one of Ori's favorite songs from the band. What he didn't tell to Riv nor Kin was that with the song came a vocal performance that he didn't really appreciated back then. 

Although his opinion hasn't changed on the matter, he still decided to post this demo to see the opinion of others on the demo.

Cooked during the pre-arrival of Kin and Sol era of distorted Majesty, a.k.a 2018, Heavy Accent is our most "Ethnic" song ever released, giving the vibes of being stuck in a desert with no way of leaving.

The grunge-like production quality mixed with Riv's guitar work and Ori's performance on the bongos(yes, bongos)as well as the vocals was going to come out on the previously scheduled release of "Sandbox Theory". However, that project has been left in hiatus, with no knowledge of when will it come out.

Experimenting with minimal funk and Nu metal sounds, Jvy is a strangely titled song for a pretty distorted but uplifting song. Ori was the only composer here and created a vibe that felt good while holding this energy of unease all the way across the song, with a culminating ending that results in a complete mess by the end.

Overwhelm the animal is a song that was made last year. A truly distorted song with synths that brings a more classic rock vibe. There's also "Shining one", an interlude made in the earlier days of the band.

Ori and Riv (formely named Jedhas Dubrise and Joe Pichinga) started their musical project back in 2015. For the next 3 years, they would make songs with two electric guitars, one acoustic guitar, different sets of electronic soundscapes and a passion for making art. They have released three EPs since 2017: 

"Exploding From The Inside", a much simpler rock album with a touch of punk, funk and weird trial and error style of psychedelic rock.

"Sonorifle", when they've fully delved into experimental works and brought electronic value to their music, as well as trying conceptual song writting for the first time.

Last but not least, 2018's "The Snow EP", reducing the experimentation in favor of a fully instrumental project that focused on a specific feeling per track, making the EP feel much grander in the process.

For 2019, the biggest successess came in two waves: 

first was the recent release of the song Evoking, a melo-dramatic doom metal song focused on the bittersweet feeling of seperation. It's one of Distorted Majesty most favored tracks with Need of Water (Instrumental) and Keep Quiet.

Second, was the introduction of two new members; Kin, a vocalist and a pianist, the man who sang and wrote the lyrics in Evoking, and Sol, another vocalist that will show you his strong capabilities very soon.

With that said, welcome to the world of Distorted Majesty.
