Good Buddy Theo from Hollow World built this sweet recording tone for the Axe-Fx 2, decided to record Born Awake using it as a test. Nothing was altered in his patch, this is it as is.
4 main Rhythm guitar tracks (L, 50% L, 50% R, R)
1 "layers" guitar track (Centered - used for intro and for clean parts)
1 "bass" track (pitch shifted guitar through a quick bass amp patch)
A crappy SD preset for drums.

Clean patch is the same, but I've X/Y'ed the amp's to be a Bogner Shiva Clean, it clips a bit hard and I CBF fixing that right now - yolo. 

Done with an Agile Intrepid Pro 828 with a BKP Aftermath.
This version is different from the recording on the E.P. in that it has some harmonies and embellishments that we play in rehearsal/Live as well as some 8-stringery which wasn't in the original song.

wow... i forgot this was here...

some old Cyaneye stuff from back in the day - before I sort of half knew what I was doing with recording...

Full line up (Bar proper acoustic drums - programmed in), guitars are a miced 30 watt practice amp (with blown speaker), miced 15 watt bass amp and vocals recorded with a cheap mic... Not my proudest moment ever, but I was pretty fuckin stoked with it at the time

Cyaneye - 2012 Sampler

Currently Untitled track - some riffs from the older version of a song we used to call next. Tracked with 2 guitars centered for the fade in intro and then a left and right, all through a custom patch from an Axe-FX II - Drums are programmed using Drumkit from hell.

No Vocals, No Bass.

No Mixing was done, the drums have a preset which I have saved for a "quick" sound and the guitars are exatly as recorded.

A full version with vocals, bass and proper mixing etc will be available one day.

Next 2012

Similar to the "Next 2012" demo - programmed drums, 2 guitar tracks (one left, one right), no bass, no vocals, no mixing, no mastering. Only a preset on the programmed drums and an axe fx II preset that I made.
