Already in the beginning of August and elrow Music continues with its fine line of releases with its 110th reference. Hailing from the beautiful Marseille’s coast, ERM110 comes in the hands of French duo Chicks Luv Us. The pair composed this three tracker EP with the name of ‘What You Got’ and it sounds wicked, meaning it will hit hard dancefloors across the globe. The EP starts with ‘Acid Monday (Original Mix)’, a track with a great groove, a strong percussion set, amazing synth lines and its highlights: the astonishing vocal line and the FX set, which give the track a true character of its own, making it perfect for both peak times and after-party moods. Then we have ‘Nasty (Original Mix)’, a song that begins with a steady percussion, a great background atmosphere and sexy vocals – perfect for Ibiza’s type of mood – with a banger peak time that will be danced during the whole summer in and out of the island. Finally, the EP closes with ‘What’s Wrong With You (Original Mix)’, the most extraterrestrial track in the record, a song that starts with a steady techy percussion that meets a playful synth line and groovy atmosphere and vocals, making this track a really nice piece for more relaxed times on the dancefloor. All in all, another great installment for elrow Music this summer with this ERM110, that continues with its steady line of releases, thanks to Chicks Luv Us (alias Nerani Julien & Anthony Fonseca) debut on the label.

Moon Harbour’s much loved Inhouse series is back with another bumper edition of beats. The second third of the compilation is taken care of firstly by German studio wizard SmashTV, who sinks you deep into his warm and late-night house cut ‘Destruction’ which has perfectly seductive vocals catching your attention. Vangelis Kostoxenakis’ ‘I Think You’re Freaky’ ups the ante with a driving bass and drums combo that comes with haunting pads and metallic hits that are designed to make a big impact in the club. The Ibiza based Miane follows up her excellent Control EP on the label with another big track, ‘Put It In Motion’ that has a turbocharged bassline and classic vocal samples that are set to become anthemic once more this summer.

English tech house head Tim Taylor has interesting releases via Daylight Robbery Records, NastyFunk or La Pera Records. Now it’s time to bring his heat to our Roush Label with ‘Persuasion’ a three-track-EP ready to rock every of your Christmas gigs. First track, ’Persuasion’ opens things with a classy breakbeat pattern setting a hip-hop styled rythm while the diva vocal and the delayed percussion gives the track an ecstasy feeling. Then a detuned synth plays a great pattern all over the track. Next up, ‘Underground’ has a similar tech-house vibe as ‘Persuasion’ but the use of the tight drums, a rave synth and the acid lead gives the track a different character that will be very useful. Last track ‘Shake’ closes this three-track EP. This cut centers its groove on the bass line that together with the snare pattern set an incredible rhythm. In the breakdown, this rhythm is seasoned with an old school type chords.
