That was intense. It's awesome how powerful you have made such a small instrument as a bell to build a big post-rock soundmass. I think this track could still benefit from a bit of silence or soft changes in the dynamics, the current stucture keeps running like a train without stopping - so the listener gets no pause to take breath between the start and the end. Great work.

Just three years after Popcaan first stepped out in his Clarks as Vybz Kartel's protégé, he has quickly established himself as one of Jamaica's biggest artists. 'Crying Without Wings' is the third and concluding chapter to Sun Angels' EP trilogy, which started with 'I'm Crying Everyone's Tears' (2011) and was preceded by 'S4TEP' (2012).
Where the former dealt with global deleveraging and dance music respectively, 'CWW' is about the supposed bursting of the 'EDM' bubble.

As the American infatuation with dance music culture has risen towards fever-pitch, so has concerns about the scene's integrity and sustainability. By lovingly ransacking house music history - throwing in baltimore club breaks, bouncy 808s, samples of evergreens, euphoric riffs and sweeping strings - 'Crying Without Wings' acts as a reminder that although dance music has a long history of commercial boom and bust, it is essentially impervious to artistic bankruptcy. 

The 'EDM' market may well crash, but dance music will remain, forever ready to catch you when you fall.

This is the third and the final version of this track. Previously it had bells and strings for high frequencies and to form a balance with the sub bass. 
Today while I was playing it came to my mind that why didn't I just add another piano layer on top of the two mid and low tracks. Credit for the inspiration goes to my special someone.
