Growing up in the countryside in Israel, (@j-o-a-f)jo:af's journey with music always involved searching for unexpected, rough, irregular and emotional moments in Music. Starting with jazz guitar, he moved on to leading a post rock band and following the small israeli indie, avant-garde and hardcore scenes across the country.

During covid, he started experimenting with hardware only electronic music production, drawing inspiration from intense experiences in raves and outdoor parties. Now based in Berlin, jo:af performs live sets with immersive soundscapes, tender and rough, while maintaining high energy and diversity.

Kicking off our new podcast series is techno icon @ellen-allien. Unable to tour in 2020, she started one of the first lockdown live stream series called The Balcony Streaming Sessions, hosted from her home in Berlin and at the start of this year, released her epic EP Rosen. In this episode, we get into the inspiration behind the music on Rosen, and find out what life has been like for Ellen in post-lockdown Berlin.

French artist Chloé (@chloe-dj-producer) has, without a doubt, led an entire generation to her electronic music playground – one that goes beyond club and techno. Chloé is a composer, meaning she gives life to an artistic idea. Working with electronic means allows for the possibilities to be expanded tenfold. The challenge is to keep a kind of certainty despite the doubts that arise throughout the creative process. This inner questioning and contradiction nourish and motivate Chloé's work. Check out her impressive performance when she took over the Gain by Gorillas stage during DGTL Amsterdam 2022.

Jensky started DJing in 2005 and since then has become a regular performer at some of the most recognized clubs and festivals in Poland. He has played alongside household names such as Dax J, Chris Liebing, Psyk, Objekt, Neil Landstrumm and many more. Filip was born with a significant hearing loss, forcing him to wear deaf aids. This inspired him to create a second project under the alias ‘Deaf Can Dance’ focusing on downtempo music. During his DJ career of 17 years, Jensky has explored many genres and has put on many different faces. Throughout his musical journey, he has become renowned and respected for his fascination with various shades of electronic music.

Philanthropist 2.0 in his city, passionate about the electronic drive and tireless promoter in constant struggle to maintain the Galician club culture, ROI champions his passionate mission, to a large extent, being an active part of the Fanzine project, which he co-directs together with The Panic Room. 
Famous for his powerful live sessions, in his you-to-you with the audience distills a whole melting pot of rhythms waving from the light. 
Elegance and power come together in off-road tracks, full of versatility, where he moves like a fish in water within the chromatic stylistic whirlwind that he cultivates in his overwhelming sonic laboratory. 
In the songs that define the path sown in his sessions, we can see his personal revolution: from rural isolation to the return to the urban barricades of rhythm. There is no truce in experiences loaded with beats, sharpened to the bone and drunk with narcotic atmospheres. 
This ambition is nourished by a body of work tiled with obsessive detail, drawn with the desire to expose the emotional grooves of his rich stylistic palette. Achievements of a trajectory that has yet to leave noteworthy new chapters written in a not too distant future.
