The Milan-based artist broke through after his EP on the T/W/B label, with the track "We're Not Born Free" as one of the weapons of 2017, played regularly by Tommy Four Seven and Kobosil. After that he released an EP on Scuderia and recently made a remix for the classic T99 - Anasthasia.

Monasterio Chamber Podcast #47 New Frames

Rvde is an Italian DJ duo, Vasco and Frank, who just became residents of the well-known Closer event series in Milan. The sound of Rvde can is leaping from driving techno cuts to ravy breaks with an influence by the late 90’s, which you can experience on their just released 12“ on Munich based Counterweight records. 
 This is a packed-into-an-hour extract of what you can expect seeing them live, including two surprises that will be finally pressed on vinyl later this year.

Grounded podcast number 137 welcomes Dutch artist Don Woezik, who currently resides in Malmö, Sweden. 

From an early age he transferred his previously hard-earned drumming skills to electronic devices, where his journey started to elevate as a electronic producer, DJ and promoter. 

Formerly one of the brains behind one of Malmö's most renowned and notorious underground clubs, the collective Kulturförening Malmö (aka Malmørave), Don is currently working as a promoter for Substantiv as well as a resident DJ for the new venue X Malmö, which will open it’s gates in November 2019. 

Following releases on labels such as Trau-ma, Gomboc and Substantiv as well as our previously premiered self release 'Resurrection', his tracks are being supported by well known artists such as Dax J, Rebekah and Nur Jaber... therefore we would advise to keep a watch on him for the future!

Disruptor 025 has a knack of combining techno, industrial noise, and the spirit of rave that will transport any dance floor. 

The Sicilian Londoner's Alderic label is just two releases deep, with an unholy VA being dropped just yesterday, featuring tracks from Sunil Sharp, Endlec and The Horrorist.

Next up we welcome a hour of pounding techno from Joy Techno's most frequent guest and a seasoned veteran in dance music whos name wouldnt go a miss, Mike Humphries. 

Mike has been producing techno since the early nineties, and his first productions were co-written, under the name of D. Kontrol. They were released on the Belgium labels, 2 Thumbs, Mineral and Growth, the in-house labels of Frank De Wulf, Since then, remixes have been created for Glenn Wilson on Planet Rhythm, Heroes, Aphrohead (aka Felix Da House Cat) on Bush Records (Area 51 mix), Thomas Krome’s Bitches from Hell on Corb (Cold Dust mix). Mike has concentrated more on producing tracks for his own labels. Punish, the sleazy sounds of Techno, Together with co-founder Glenn Wilson, Punish was the start of a new sound in techno.

With the label Red Seal, recording under the name H, he brought you the World Downfall series (big hitters on the Fuse presents series for Dave Clarke), 2 Thieves and was responsible for live PAs as Cold Dust with Nuccle. He started Black and White records, co-ran Player Records, the in-house label of the Orbit UK (R.I.P.) bringing anonymous releases to the Player label that were also remixed by DJ Bam Bam, DJ Urban and Angel Alanis, as well as artists such as Joey Beltram, Adam Beyer, Marco Bailey and Mark Broom, Ben Simms on the Player Remixes label.

Mike left all of these projects behind him at the end of 2003 to make way for his most recent project, Mastertraxx, which began in 2004. Mike has DJ-ed and played live sets in clubs all around the world, and currently plays for Joy Techno Sessions.
