Hilma af Klint’s No. 3, Youth is part of The Ten Largest (1907), one of the most ambitious and groundbreaking series in early modern art. The ten paintings, each more than three meters tall, explore the four great stages of human life: childhood, youth, adulthood, and old age. Af Klint believed these stages were not only physical but also spiritual passages, shaped by forces beyond what can be seen.

In Youth, she turns the complexity of adolescence into color and form. Large spirals, ellipses, and floral patterns sweep across the canvas in constant motion, suggesting the growth, vitality, and turbulence of this period in life. The palette of glowing oranges, deep violets, and soft blues creates a sense of rhythm and energy, while fine decorative lines and details remind us of the fragility that comes with transition. Together, these forms express both the excitement and uncertainty of stepping out of childhood and into the wider world.

Af Klint’s work here is not a literal portrait of young people, but a symbolic map of development. Drawing inspiration from natural sciences, spiritual teachings, and her own visionary experiences, she created a new kind of visual language. Her aim was to capture invisible forces the flow of energy, the cycles of nature, and the unseen dimensions of human growth.

Painted in 1907, The Ten Largest predates the fully abstract works of artists like Kandinsky, Mondrian, and Malevich by several years. These vast compositions show how af Klint was working at the edge of invention, combining abstraction with ideas of evolution, spirituality, and psychology. With Youth, she offers an image of life in motion overflowing with curiosity, potential, and transformation.

Today, Youth stands as a powerful reminder of af Klint’s unique vision. It demonstrates how abstraction can move beyond decoration or style to communicate profound human experiences. By translating the inner life of adolescence into color and form, af Klint challenged the boundaries of art in her time and opened a path for future generations of artists to explore the unseen dimensions of existence.

Here comes a recording that's very dear to my heart.. the recording from our own little gathering at Werbellinsee mid August 🏕️🌞
An absolutely stunning location, the loveliest people around and just straight-up a round organized by friends for friends of our Kollektiv Nachtkerze. I had an absolute blast behind the decks with @francesco_rizzi, improvising the biggest part of this session but therefore ending up with something real, that really lived in the moment. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did that day.. still gives me goosebumps.

🌪What is the strangest, funny or most unusual talent you possess?

I can purr like a cat – and it sounds incredibly real. No joke

🌴 What is your role or even job in our small bubble? Where do you see your
responsibilities and what are your visions?

I’m a DJ and (event) organizer, but I also work as the main coordinator
of an association that advocates for better conditions in the local
music scene. We act as a bridge between the scene, public
administration, and politics – aiming to improve the situation for music
event organizers in our city.
It’s real political work, and often quite demanding. But because I’m
deeply involved in the scene myself, I know where the problems lie and
what’s urgently needed. That’s exactly where I see my responsibility:
making cultural work visible and valued – through funding, fair working
conditions, awareness efforts, and mental health support.
At the same time, I want to help create and protect spaces that allow
for safer and braver environments.

🙈What does true happiness mean to you, and have you found it yet?

I believe the idea of true happiness changes with each life stage and
the experiences we go through. As a child, happiness meant playing in
the forest and not having to go to school. Today, it’s much more
layered.
One of the most important aspects of happiness for me is relationships –
having people I can rely on, with whom I can be honest, vulnerable, and
completely myself. Friendships and connections built on trust, mutual
support, and inspiration. People I can laugh with, cry with, grow with,
and create with.
Alongside that, art continues to be a deep source of joy – whether it’s
music, theatre, or visual arts. Art has the power to move, challenge,
comfort, and connect. And that’s what truly fulfills me. So I guess
sometimes I found it, sometimes I am still searching.

CeddFUZE Presents // Pitch Shift Selections

This is my set from Mystic Creatures Festival 2025, on the opening night of the festival. 

After a summer filled with intense experiences, I was so looking forward to close the circle and to share with you some slower sounds - music to let all creatures drift gently into a soft arrival on this beautiful island.

Seeing so many people arrive and step into their first moments of the festival during my set was truly magical. It felt like a reunion of many old and new friends, all gathering to kick off a wonderful weekend together. 
I’m deeply grateful for everyone who joined this journey. Your presence and support mean so much to me, and this memory will stay with me. ❤️

It has been a while I last started a set at 90bpm, and wow it felt amazing! This set is a mix of deep and warm sound, with a pinch of weirdness, navigating through the slower music spectrum. Taking a small detour to some more groovy tunes and to minimal vibes, before heading back to cuddly atmosphere this stage was calling for. Almost each and every track hold a strong emotional meaning for me and I am so happy how it all came together

And of course, true to my habit, I closed the set with a little surprise ;)

The end of the last night of Kompáz am Fluss.

A set loaded with emotions of a night that had its lows. Emotionally meaningful after such a big project as organiser and in an important moment in my life. Music can heal and stabilise, being able to express emotions through sound is a gift.

It was such an honor to play at Spirit Space on Sunday morning at sunrise. I stepped in for another DJ and had no set prepared but it was so much fun to play my tracks slower and feel the bass go even deeper. The people there were amazing, some coming down from a whole night, some still going strong, some just waking up to sauna or swim in the lake. The vibe around me was so deep and I am so grateful for all the sweet souls who were there <3 much love

"Somnus" is the Roman god of sleep. A "protocol" implies a scientific, systematic procedure. So, the album is presented as an auditory log of a clinical experiment—a series of controlled ventures into the human subconscious. This clinical, detached framing creates a cool contrast with the deep, emotional, and often chaotic nature of dreams, which is perfect for the dub/deep techno sound.
