Premiere: Soma Soul - The Sound Of The Athabasca River ft. Ed Begley (Lehar Remix) [Fayer]

Single number five of 2021, called "Perception of Reality", is created by the trio of Trusted Tracks, Ito Cekaj, Rasange & Olavi. The track is built upon the idea of ones perception of the world can be very far from the truth. The track starts out with a airy and beautiful synth which then transitions into a gated vocal that gives the track a lot of atomosphere. When the drop hits, you get a bouncy groovy and these lush elements on top of it. The song then goes into a break which then leads back into the drop again but this time with a little bit more energy.

March '20 - our dance floors shut, the rave stops. Today, more than a year later, we're still waiting for our favorite clubs to reopen their doors and our favorite festival to enchant us yet another time. We all miss our chance to gather in warm crowds, share a smile with a stranger and shake off the burdens of everyday life on the dance floor. It's a challenging time for the scene, mentally and physically. But lo and behold, sooner or later, social isolation will come to an end and there will be a REVIVAL.

After months of planning & scheming, we're hyper-excited to present our very first label release - a 10 track compilation to revive our dance floors after their dormancy. The full compilation is released throughout summer ’21.

We’re closing off with a big bang: Five original tracks by six of our absolute favorite artists! Anakim, Mila Journée, Starkato & Intaktogene, Yeröm & Fabian Vieregge. The LA-based @anakim surprised us with a, compared to his regular style, unusually emotional yet groovy beauty called ‚Fade Away‘. 

All revenue goes to the artist and 15% of royalties are donated to help people in the poorest parts of Africa thanks to our distribution partner Forward.

PREMIERE: LEYZEN - ArtGaia (Super Flu Remix) [Eklektisch]

'Next up for the rising Desert Hearts Black label, is a big single from Darin Epsilon and Galestian. 

Following up his great release with Marc DePulse, Darin makes his return with a charged progressive groove titled “Reset.” This tune is layered with arpeggiated emotion, and just keeps climbing throughout the entire ride. Darin is such a dynamic producer, constantly showing his range, and Reset is another example of his ever expanding work.

This release also carries two exciting remixes, taking Darin and Galestian’s creation even deeper. The first comes from Fur Coat, making his debut on the label, and delivers that signature dark energy. Galestian has previously collaborated with Paul Oakenfold and released alongside Olivier Giacomotto, with music out on labels such as Berlin’s Ritter Butzke Records and Toolroom. Another big artist joins the DHB catalog with a remix, and this one brings the heat.

The second remix, rounding out the release, comes from label heads and founders Marbs & Evan Casey. Moody, melodic, and a journey driven remix taking us through the realms with some beautiful moments and shifts. Another great collab from these two here, and a big release all around for the DH imprint. Release date for this one is November 12, so stay tuned!'
