INTERVIEW

1. How would you describe your sound?
"I can describe my sound as emotional and melancholic, with a fat melodic bassline, hypnotic melodies and heavy beats. I always try to transmit something in every track, introducing the listener to a journey, trying to make them feel.”

2. How did you learn producing?
“I started by my own, doing something more indie with any resources which were only my guitar and my laptop. One year after that I decided to take a short course about using Ableton Live. I learned how to use the DAW but I needed a lot of practice and other perspectives. So I spend all my hours doing music, in contact with other producers and watching tutorials.” 

3. What keeps you going?
“I love to make music and the lots of positive feedback about my music. It's the reason that makes me keep on going. There are also other reasons like to see people enjoying with my music and dancing.”

4. DAW?
“Ableton Live”

5. Most exciting club moment?
“There are a lot of exciting moments at the club, but in general the best moments are when the people enjoy with your music, dance and connect with you. That is the best, it’s magic!”

6. What do you listen to besides electronic music?
“I like lots of different styles of music like rap, rock, indie, r&b, classic, funky and more. I love the music of the 80s and 90s, too. One of my favourite rock bands is Radiohead.“

7. You in 10 years?
“I hope to still be doing what I love, music, but with more knowledge and gear, and always trying to do my best.”

8. Next release?
“An EP on Timeless Moment, it’s a Brazilian Label.”

9. What you can’t stand?
“Hot beer”

The art of music has touched the hearts of human beings around the planet for thousands of years. It's a universal language with the ability to express what can't be expressed through words or thought. It can induce strong emotions, alter our states of consciousness and let us experience reality in a different way. It can draw us into the present moment, where just the music exists - unfolding through time, moment by moment. When we let go and merge into the auditory sensations, it takes us on an inner journey. Using this not to escape, but to fully embrace reality as it is, music can help us release tensions and bring balance to our everyday life. 
Especially dance music allows us to unify with the flow of the music. When we express the energy it releases within us, by just giving ourselves to it and following the spontaneous and authentic movements of our bodies, we can experience a state of connection, peace and joy. Doing this collectively, synchronously moving to the same rhythm and sharing this special experience, we feel a connection that resonates within.

With DIT KLINGT JUT we want to express our love for music and manifest the meaning it can have for all of us. We do this by providing a thoughtfully curated space for artists and labels to share their music, organizing events & live-streams and serving as a platform to share ideas on music and the creative process.
