INTERVIEW

1. How would you describe your sound?
“Probably as a blend of melodic techno with a Berlin house infusion including a hyperconscious sound design. Just kidding with more than 40 years involved in the music industry combined, our sound features elements of several decades of electronic music - which probably defines our sound. Sometimes it's a little more housey, sometimes a little more techy.”

“Cubase”

3. Who will considerably give direction to the scene soon?
“There are a lot of exciting producers out there. Hard to pick one. DJ Koze just released an amazing and versatile album - guys like him will probably lead the scene if it goes to re-inventing and taking electronic music a step further.”

4. What keeps you going?
“People loving our music and giving a positive feedback while dancing the night away.”

5. What makes dance music so special to you?
“It is so versatile and innovative - it continuously develops, never standing still. And it makes people come together and have fun!”

6. Next release?
“Remixes on Katermukke and for Henry Saiz.”

The art of music has touched the hearts of human beings around the planet for thousands of years. It's a universal language with the ability to express what can't be expressed through words or thought. It can induce strong emotions, alter our states of consciousness and let us experience reality in a different way. It can draw us into the present moment, where just the music exists - unfolding through time, moment by moment. When we let go and merge into the auditory sensations, it takes us on an inner journey. Using this not to escape, but to fully embrace reality as it is, music can help us release tensions and bring balance to our everyday life. 
Especially dance music allows us to unify with the flow of the music. When we express the energy it releases within us, by just giving ourselves to it and following the spontaneous and authentic movements of our bodies, we can experience a state of connection, peace and joy. Doing this collectively, synchronously moving to the same rhythm and sharing this special experience, we feel a connection that resonates within.

With DIT KLINGT JUT we want to express our love for music and manifest the meaning it can have for all of us. We do this by providing a thoughtfully curated space for artists and labels to share their music, organizing events & live-streams and serving as a platform to share ideas on music and the creative process.
