Dj and Producer Moritz Rausch hails from the town Kiel, near Hamburg. Coming from a musical family he learned to play piano at a young age, played drums and trained his voice. Since his youth he has always been a member of several band projects and concentrated on hiphop and pop. He started his journey through electronic music in the year 2010 and soon invented his Rauschhaus Alias. After years of experimenting he finally developed his unique style. Strong melodies and atmospheres coupled with solid percussion work and amazing sound design. His releases are played by many big names in the scene and are steadily entering the Beatport Top 100. He is a constant figure in the progressive house genre and managed to get into the Top 50 of progressive artists worldwide. Since 4 years he is throwing his own clubnights at Luna Club Kiel. Berlin-based Mona Moore has been a passionate lover of electronic music since the year 2000. Sooner or later, she just had to venture behind the decks. She had her debut in what she now calls "her living room" - the iconic Berlin club, KaterBlau. Since then, she has performed innumerable times both within and outside of the capital. 

Over the last year or so, Moore has entered the production side of things with original releases on Katz&Kauz and Rebellion der Traumer. Mona describes her music as describes a deep, groovy and melodic techno / deep house. Her philosophy when she is playing: "Sharing the love of music and thereby forgetting a few hours of space and time"

We have been following Mona Moore for a couple of years now, and love her unique take on melodic techno. We are super grateful for this exclusive mix, Institution 069: Mona Moore

Jafi Bravin started his career in 2022 learning at StudioBeatroom in Mendoza, Argentina after two reflexive pandemic years and several years being around djs and electronic music.

Hello and welcome once again to the Depth Perception Sessions. Home of the beats that matter!

Bio:

Berlin based DJ/Producer, MPathy, developed a strong interest for electronic music at a very young age. Growing up in the city of Berlin he was highly influenced by the electronic music scene in the 90’s. He later spent a couple of years in Chicago and also in Shanghai where he got involved with the local electronic music scenes, which ultimately shaped his outlook on electronic music today. With Techno music and DJing being his greatest passion for a long time, he started to work on his own productions in 2008. Since then he has produced Techno, Tech-House and Minimal music for various record labels.
After finishing his audio engineering studies in 2012 he joined the Berlin based Ethereal Techno label Steyoyoke. MPathy is responsible for the first and most successful Steyoyoke release in collaboration with Antonio Olivieri, ‘If I Were Music’. He played gigs all over Europe, Brazil and Africa and shared the decks with Oxia, Coeus, BLANCAh, Rauschhaus and Ran Salman, just to name a few.
MPathy is eager to push off in his own direction to continue to both challenge and provoke existing concepts of making unique and forward thinking music.

⁍Hey mates, a warm welcome to our Introduction series. We're very excited for the release of your track 'Nemea' - an absolute standout track in our eyes! Can you tell us a little about the idea behind it?

First of all we are excited to start our project with your label.
Nemea was born on a classic day in the studio, initially without a precise idea,  we knew that the only thing we wanted was something energetic and powerful, with a straight and big drop that would blow everything, so we got carried away by the vibes that each instrument emanated and step by step we made it.

⁍You guys are the first newly founded project we accepted for our label in a long time, what can we expect from you in the future?

Right now we are very focused in the studio, we work hard every day to make our style even more concrete. We have clear ideas now about what we want and what we want to achieve, we are constantly evolving, always looking for sounds that belong to us. We are very confident, we already have new records in the pipeline, we try to finish them as soon as possible and let people listen to them.

⁍How would you describe your approach to social media as artists?

Social media for an artist has a central role nowadays, they allow you to stay in touch with fans and people, sharing music with them is very rewarding. They also allow you to arrive directly in the music industry as the Labels to be able to listen to their releases, in short, it is like a sales channel of the Artist’s product. Then surely for emerging DJs and producers like us is very important social profile is a business card and you have to take care of it at best.

⁍How do you get into a creative flow?

To enter the creative flow we believe that the basis should be the awareness of what you want to do, not following or imitating others, but create what you feel inside and that more belongs to your personal taste, follow the vibes of that precise moment, just so we think that the realization of a record can be successful, because the first "judge" of the creations must be ourselves!

With DIT KLINGT JUT we want to express our love for music and manifest the meaning it can have for all of us.
