Tanzkombinat Talent Mix #068 by Stefan Muchte

Stefan Muchte is a DJ based in Berlin and member of the collective "Insel der Visionen". Raised in Würzburg, he made his first experiences in electronic music in Munich, where he played at well-known clubs as Harry Klein, Bahnwaerter Thiel &amp; Bob Beaman. With his diversified style for DJ sets, sometimes of abstract origin, he creates a symbiosis similar to the situation on the dance floor with perfectly balanced tracks. No one can promise in which direction it will continue, crossovers between rolling deephouse and oriental breakbeat are not unusual with this man.

After moving to Berlin in 2021, his style direction has changed more and more to ,,IndieDance’’ and ,,DarkDisco’’ and still counts as his main genre today. He loves the variety in his sets, but above all the influence of special elements, always underlined with an addiction for Rhythm &amp; Groove. No matter where this all-rounder stands at the decks, the crowd is dancing. Much to the delight of people who are discerning and open to new emotions on the subject of music.

A true sound explorer and dextrous merchant of time-proof melodic techno. Berlin's Annett Gapstream has been making waves in the scene for almost a decade. Drawn from gigs all over the world and a quite noteworthy discography, she originates a skillful game of balance while playing records. Her curious, fantasy-driven mind fuels the selfmade, somehow rebellious hunt about the next big thing, new directions and sounds within her field of deep and melodic house or techno. Starting producing her own music in 2017, Annett Gapstream meanwhile garnered accolades for her compositions, gracing the likes of some high-flying imprints including Stil vor Talent, Watergate Rec., Blindfold and Black Rose Rec. 2021 saw the birth of her record label Artminding, a platform set up to mirror her specific sound as well as shelter the ideas and visions of fellow artists.

I had to cut out a track from this mix (unreleased, unsigned) - it's this fade-out/fade-in part on 1:31h - sorry for that. But please enjoy this recording as much as I enjoyed my gig. It was a sunrise set from 05:00-07:00 in the morning over the roofs in the city center of São Paulo. What an experience!

"I wanted to create a mix that represents my sound and how I work with music. In this moment I felt like constructing it as a quick warm up and introduction to me, starting with something smoother/ dreamier before upping the bpms and energy level and ending it with an ecstatic take off. Our interview with Aphoteosis 💜

⁍Hey mates, a warm welcome to our Introduction series. We're very excited for the release of your track 'Nemea' - an absolute standout track in our eyes! Can you tell us a little about the idea behind it?

First of all we are excited to start our project with your label.
Nemea was born on a classic day in the studio, initially without a precise idea,  we knew that the only thing we wanted was something energetic and powerful, with a straight and big drop that would blow everything, so we got carried away by the vibes that each instrument emanated and step by step we made it.

⁍You guys are the first newly founded project we accepted for our label in a long time, what can we expect from you in the future?

Right now we are very focused in the studio, we work hard every day to make our style even more concrete. We have clear ideas now about what we want and what we want to achieve, we are constantly evolving, always looking for sounds that belong to us. We are very confident, we already have new records in the pipeline, we try to finish them as soon as possible and let people listen to them.

⁍How would you describe your approach to social media as artists?

Social media for an artist has a central role nowadays, they allow you to stay in touch with fans and people, sharing music with them is very rewarding. They also allow you to arrive directly in the music industry as the Labels to be able to listen to their releases, in short, it is like a sales channel of the Artist’s product. Then surely for emerging DJs and producers like us is very important social profile is a business card and you have to take care of it at best.

⁍How do you get into a creative flow?

To enter the creative flow we believe that the basis should be the awareness of what you want to do, not following or imitating others, but create what you feel inside and that more belongs to your personal taste, follow the vibes of that precise moment, just so we think that the realization of a record can be successful, because the first "judge" of the creations must be ourselves!

Especially dance music allows us to unify with the flow of the music. When we express the energy it releases within us, by just giving ourselves to it and following the spontaneous and authentic movements of our bodies, we can experience a state of connection, peace and joy. Doing this collectively, synchronously moving to the same rhythm and sharing this special experience, we feel a connection that resonates within.

With DIT KLINGT JUT we want to express our love for music and manifest the meaning it can have for all of us. We do this by providing a thoughtfully curated space for artists and labels to share their music, organizing events & live-streams and serving as a platform to share ideas on music and the creative process.
