PREMIERE : Christian Bonori - State Of Mind (Citizen Kain Remix)[Yoshitoshi Recordings]

Christian Bonori made his Yoshitoshi debut back in 2016 with 'Unruliness,' a record that, true to its name, was a devastating force in the club and one of Sharam's secret weapons. While that record was a techno powerhouse, the Italian producer returns to Yoshitoshi with the State of Mind EP, a change of course for him that features two deeper cuts and a terrific remix from Frenchman Citizen Kain.

The title track is dark and dubby with plenty of twists and turns, making it a fine, modern house track. Don't let the deep vibe of 'State of Mind' fool you - it's a real builder that can create some epic moments on the floor. Citizen Kain joins the Yoshitoshi family with a heavy remix of the tune, turning the track into a peak time club demon with a techno meets nu-disco flavor. 'Berlin Atmosphere' is more straight-up deep house, with floating chord stabs and a laid back, shuffling groove that hearkens back to the deep, early Yoshitoshi sound. The EP is another fine showing from the label and a great addition to the catalogue, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

About the artist
Coming out from the mayhem environment of the early post-communist Bulgaria, the vibrant and molding scene got Pavel Petrov regarded not only a music selector in front of his peers but internationally respected DJ and producer. Being driven and consistent brought 2018 as the most successful year for him yet. Marc is well known for the versatility of his productions, that normally are released on big and well-known labels like Einmusika, Noir Music or Parquet. “Arp & Down” once again shows this versatility. It’s an outstanding track in the mass of everyday released electronic music tracks these days. So yeah, we’re very proud to have Marc DePulse back on the label and we hope You like his new track.

Doing this collectively, synchronously moving to the same rhythm and sharing this special experience, we feel a connection that resonates within.

With DIT KLINGT JUT we want to express our love for music and manifest the meaning it can have for all of us.
