The reunion of Seven Lions, Above & Beyond, and Opposite The Other arrives with ‘Over Now,’ out now on Anjunabeats and Ophelia Records. 

‘Over Now’ is the follow-up to Above & Beyond, Seven Lions and Opposite The Other’s collaborative debut ‘See The End’ (2019). It’s since become a staple in Above & Beyond’s live sets at clubs and festivals worldwide. This summer, Seven Lions joined Above & Beyond on stage to perform ‘Over Now’ at the trio’s biggest celebration of 2023, the Group Therapy Weekender at The Gorge, as seen in the official music video.

Melodic dubstep pioneer Seven Lions rapidly rose to prominence after winning a remix competition in 2011. His unique rework of Above & Beyond’s ‘You Got To Go’ (feat. Zoë Johnston) immediately grabbed the trio’s attention, sparking the beginning of a relationship that would span multiple collaborative performances between the two acts and an array of further Seven Lions remixes of Above & Beyond and Anjunabeats classics. 

A vocal fan of Above & Beyond’s early works, Jeff’s (Seven Lions) own inimitable brand of high-octane, bass-saturated dance has always kept songwriting at its core. Some of his most recognizable Anjunabeats releases include his heavy-hitting remix 3LAU’s debut Anjunabeats smash, ‘Tokyo’ feat. XIRA, his unforgettable collaboration with Jason Ross and Paul Meany, ‘Higher Love’, and more.

Seven Lions kicked off this year with his seismic ‘Journey III’ album tour, with stops at Los Angeles State Historic Park, three shows at Avant Gardner (Brooklyn Mirage), Downtown Las Vegas Event Center, San Diego’s Rady Shell, and beyond, selling over 125K tickets in total.

Songwriter and vocalist Sam Burger releases music under the moniker 'Opposite The Other'. Opposite The Other has supported globally renowned acts like The Cure, Bastille, The Lumineers, and more, and teamed up with Seven Lions earlier this year on ‘Alive’. 

Reflecting on ‘Over Now’, Sam explains: 

"The initial lyrical idea for the song actually came to me near the end of the pandemic. Like many others, I was in a dark place for so many reasons. The truth hit me that no matter how good or bad a situation is, there will always be an ending. This song is about the hope that the light at the end of the tunnel will arrive sooner rather than later. Working with Above & Beyond and Seven Lions once again has been the biggest joy, and I'm super excited to see how this song resonates with people".

Above & Beyond's next live celebration will see them return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre this October to helm two shows alongside label stars from Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, final tickets are on sale now (https://www.aboveandbeyond.nu/redrocks/).

Dutch producer Estiva releases his ‘What Is Love EP’, out now on Anjunabeats. 

Steven Baan, aka Estiva, has become synonymous with high quality progressive music. By no means a stranger to our label, he’s has already supplied four impressive remixes to our catalogue, including reworks of Daniel Kandi and Super8 & Tab. In October 2021, he released his first solo original material on Anjunabeats, the 'Sky EP'.

Estiva kicked off this year by dropping his progressive two-tracker ‘Rays / Aylu’, which shot to #3 in the Beatport Top 100 Progressive House chart and earned support from Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Farius and more. He followed that up with the release of his latest album, ‘Infinita’, on Colorize, alongside an extensive tour across Europe and North America. 

Following on from recent appearances at ASOT London, Noir Toronto and Euforia Festival, Estiva is set to perform at Dreamstate SoCal, Beachclub Fuel, Colorize Amsterdam and more.

Kasablanca drop their latest single ‘Rubicon’, out now on Anjunabeats. 

Accomplished melodic techno duo Kasablanca first made a splash in Summer 2020 with their collaboration with Lane 8, ‘Run’. They followed that up with their debut album ‘Human Learning’, their Juno Award-nominated single with Bob Moses ‘Afterglow’, their ‘Immunity EP’ on Anjunabeats, as well as a remix of Above & Beyond’s ‘Black Room Boy’ as part of the ‘10 Years of Group Therapy’ celebrations.

Their latest EP on Anjunabeats, ‘Lucid Audio’, earned support from the likes of Massano, Oliver Heldens, Don Diablo, Armin van Buuren, Vintage Culture, James Hype and Lane 8, while racking up over 3.5M total worldwide streams to date. Stellar remixes of tracks from the EP soon followed: Korolova’s take on 'In Sequence’ and Øostil’s rework of ‘Am I Dreaming?’ were played on stages around the world and also saw support from many others including David Guetta, Cosmic Gate, Gabriel & Dresden, and more.

Kasablanca’s sound takes on a whole new dimension when you experience it live. Their adrenaline-fuelled show, akin to a mashup of Justice, Queen and Stephan Bodzin, straddles the atmosphere of a full-blown rock concert and a superclub. Replete with Prince-esque swagger and an extensive rig of analogue synthesizers on stage, they recently supported Above & Beyond at their sold-out Printworks London takeover and at The Gorge for Group Therapy Weekender.

Early this year, the duo completed their ‘Am I Dreaming?’ tour, which took them to eight sold-out venues across North America, as well as Ultra Miami, Coachella, festival appearances in Brazil and India, and a return to Red Rocks Amphitheater with Above & Beyond. Road tested and fine-tuned at many of these venues, 'Rubicon' sets the stage for a blistering end of the year with another tune chock full of retro synth melodies and hypnotic basslines.

Doing this collectively, synchronously moving to the same rhythm and sharing this special experience, we feel a connection that resonates within.

With DIT KLINGT JUT we want to express our love for music and manifest the meaning it can have for all of us. We do this by providing a thoughtfully curated space for artists and labels to share their music, organizing events & live-streams and serving as a platform to share ideas on music and the creative process.
