Berlin-based Mona Moore has been a passionate lover of electronic music since the year 2000. Sooner or later, she just had to venture behind the decks. She had her debut in what she now calls "her living room" - the iconic Berlin club, KaterBlau. Since then, she has performed innumerable times both within and outside of the capital. 

Over the last year or so, Moore has entered the production side of things with original releases on Katz&Kauz and Rebellion der Traumer. Mona describes her music as describes a deep, groovy and melodic techno / deep house. Her philosophy when she is playing: "Sharing the love of music and thereby forgetting a few hours of space and time"

We have been following Mona Moore for a couple of years now, and love her unique take on melodic techno. We are super grateful for this exclusive mix, Institution 069: Mona Moore

We are back and this time from UK 🇬🇧 with Waitn with Modus Musik boss Waitn who is no stranger when it comes to the underground scene. With aspirations of starting a label in the near future, Manchester based Waitn has been actively working on projects of his own, carefully sculpting his sound as he prepares to release some of his own material at the beginning of next year. His musical persuasion focuses on intricate drums and heavy basslines, with influence coming from the likes of East End Dubs, Cuartero and Rigzz.
Aside from DJing and producing, Waitn is the founding member of his own music collective, Modus Musik, which he runs alongside long-term friend, and fellow DJ, Liam Grant.
Having already made half a dozen appearances at events across the North of England in his first 6 months as an out-playing DJ, this young talent is showing no sign of slowing down. You can catch him playing at the next Modus Musik party 19th November 2022 in his hometown of Cleethorpes.

He has released on majors like Warner and Virgin and underground staples like Stripped Down Records, Cocoon, Mobilee, Tenampa and Last Night On Earth. But whatever he does and wherever he does it, Timo is always investigating new musical grounds and this set is no difference.

Ahmed Raxon aka Raxon 
Egyptian born and now Barcelona based, as an artist Raxon is testament to the adage that passion and determination will take you where you want to be. Days, nights, months and years in the studio have contributed to a string of revered releases in recent years, on the globe’s most sought after imprints.

Raxon studied and worked as an architect in Dubai, but it was in 2010 he decided to focus on his vocation... electronic music. His journey through sound led him to the awe-inspiring Barcelona in 2014, where he started to release music with some of the most respected labels on the dance music scene such as Ellum, Diynamic, Kompakt, Cocoon and more..

His love for music comes from the late 90s in his early teens, with major influences spanning rock, hip-hop, trance, house and sci-fi movies. A Dj for over 20 years, his exposure to countless trends has helped shape the signature stripped back melodic techno driven sound he is best known for.

The art of music has touched the hearts of human beings around the planet for thousands of years. It's a universal language with the ability to express what can't be expressed through words or thought. It can induce strong emotions, alter our states of consciousness and let us experience reality in a different way. It can draw us into the present moment, where just the music exists - unfolding through time, moment by moment. When we let go and merge into the auditory sensations, it takes us on an inner journey. Using this not to escape, but to fully embrace reality as it is, music can help us release tensions and bring balance to our everyday life. 
Especially dance music allows us to unify with the flow of the music. When we express the energy it releases within us, by just giving ourselves to it and following the spontaneous and authentic movements of our bodies, we can experience a state of connection, peace and joy. Doing this collectively, synchronously moving to the same rhythm and sharing this special experience, we feel a connection that resonates within.

With DIT KLINGT JUT we want to express our love for music and manifest the meaning it can have for all of us. We do this by providing a thoughtfully curated space for artists and labels to share their music, organizing events & live-streams and serving as a platform to share ideas on music and the creative process.
